We followed and appreciated Marine's valuable advice on good restaurants in La Rochelle. Marine is also responsive and accommodating.

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Lovely little gite in the most stunning area at the foot of the castle and overlooking a walnut orchard. Close to many towns and areas of outstanding beauty and interest such as La Roque-Gageac and the ancient fort, Gran Roc with its incredible caves and Salat. Very peaceful place to stay with a delightful bistro 5 minutes walk and walking distance to the river and beach/canoe hire

We had a wonderful time. The house was just as pictured, the view, with a remarkable location. A favorite, it was sad to leave this magical place. David is a nice person. Regarding the equipment, he thought of everything, fireplace for a small friendly evening, garden lounges with different views. Fabulous gite in a gorgeous setting.

We had a memorable week at this stunning Dordogne home. We felt looked after in every way, the house is really beautiful filled with quality appliances, linen, towels and stylish interior design. The garden was full of flowers, the setting is magical we absolutely loved the outside dining, the breakfast room and the well equipped kitchen. Views, hot air balloons drifting by and a walk to the chateau up above us was amazing. Highly recommend Sandrine and Franck have created a home away from home. Would love to go back. There were four of us and we had a wonderful stay in Marie-Sarah's & Josselin's beautiful house by the sea. The house is very cozy and well divided. We lacked nothing and were overwhelmed every time we looked out the windows or the porch door. The view of the sea will accompany us for a long time to come. Marie-Sarah & Josselin were very good hosts. Requested insider tips for the area came as a highly professional and beautifully designed PDF. We highly recommend the house, the area and the hosts ❤️

Fantastic place to stay for our weekend in Ile de Re. The place was right around the corner of the stunning port of Saint Martin, and the apartment looked even better than the photos - super cosy and had all you could ask for. Corinne and Eric were the best hosts, very friendly and welcoming, flexible with us and always on hand to help with recommendations. We thoroughly recommend!!

Ideally located, this accommodation is perfect for discovering the Ile de Ré and its beautiful landscapes by bike (rental next door, friendly). The added bonus is the sauna. Beautiful decoration, well-equipped. Good communication with the host who gives good advice. Parking right across.

Beautiful apartment, fabulous views (even from the shower!), and delightful little private beach - where our kids enjoyed playing while we played boules on the lawn above. Lovely walk into the old port, either along the beach path, or inland along the beautiful grassy avenue. Great restaurants in the town, although we enjoyed most meals at home so we could make the most of the fantastic views. A wonderful stay!

We had a lovely stay, with our 3-month-old son and our dog. The accommodation is really a stone's throw from the ocean, and close to beach shops (shops, bars, restaurants, etc...) which we really liked. Nathalie is very responsive: we thank her for the speed of these responses to the message. Small accommodation, but has everything you need when you leave for a few days of change of scenery. We would 100% recommend

Mathieu greeted us in person. He was very nice and his explanations were very clear. The accommodation is very nice and especially extremely well located, in the heart of La Rochelle, in the pedestrian streets. In short, everything was perfect.
