Käpälämäki's cottage is a lovely place with many amenities and a great location. The mind and soul rest in these landscapes. Communicating with Anna-Mari went really well. We highly recommend it, a wonderful place in the summer! 🌺🌻

Nice old house, good location, stylish and yet cozy. Kitchen equipment exceeded expectations, coffee machine🙏. The yard is nice and the yard sauna is a nice bonus! Terrace and hot tub are great, a group of 6 women fit well for the weekend! Near Iso-Melkutin, a nice clear-watered lake surrounded by a nice hiking trail

We had a fantastic weekend at Eemeli's and Kati's cabin. Our goal was to spend a couple of days close to nature, and we got exactly that. The place was beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The cabin was well-equipped and looked as good as in the photos. Thank you!

Wonderful lakeside retreat – highly recommended! This cabin is in a stunning natural setting, just a short drive from the Helsinki area. The wood-fired sauna and hot tub right by the water made our stay extra special. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing getaway, and the host was super friendly and responsive. Don’t miss exploring the nearby Salo area – lots to see and do by car. We’d definitely come back!

Great place to relax and unwind for some days! Amazing location in the middle of the forest, cabin 3 is very private and although the room is small, everything we needed was available.

Just leaving from an idyllic week long stay at this beautiful lakeside property. The location is perfect, being 30 mins from Helsinki and 5 mins from the nearest town. The property and grounds are spacious but homely. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything that you could need to self cater including an outside grill/BBQ. The main selling point however is the outdoor spaces: Sauna, hot top, sun chairs on the jetty, swing bench and choice of outdoor eating areas. The area is very peaceful...prefect for unwinding from the daily grind!

Beautiful cottage with a great view of the lake. Lakeside sauna was amazing. Cottage was well equipped and easy to reach by taxi. Will definitely visit again!

The cottage was like a little paradise, so peaceful, beautiful and relaxing place. Everything was just like in the pictures or even better. We had a wonderful time in the middle of nature, I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a break 🤩

A peaceful cottage by the pond. The cottage was clean and everything you need can be found, so it's easy to go to the cottage. The lakeside sauna provided good steam baths and you could cool off in the lake. Communication is really easy.

What a wonderful place where the mind rests! Villa Hattara combines a sweet old-fashioned vibe, stunning surrounding nature, and the necessary modern-day amenities. In the yard under the old trees, it was nice to sit on a barbecue, admire the roar of the rapids, and listen to the birdsong. Special mention of a sauna with great steam and great views of the river from the deck! Heidi is a nice host with whom communication was straightforward. Absolutely one of a kind place! ♡

Lovely place to spend a summer weekend! The sauna had good steam and the river was refreshing to swim in. We found everything we needed in the cabin and a little more. Communicating with Raisa was friendly and smooth.

Lovely cottage and beautiful surrounding nature. The sauna provided good steam and it was nice to go to the pond to cool off. The national parks Torronsuo and Liesjärvi are within driving distance, both great places to visit. The host responded quickly and everything went smoothly. The cottage was well equipped. I can definitely recommend staying at Villa Mäntylä!

Nice small cabin aside of the main house. Equipped with enough blankets and heaters, still quite cold if to not use sauna / fireplace if you are out for a day. There is a guide for everything you might need, and as a bonus you can meet a great friendly host’s dog (though still ask if it is okay to pet it) :)

A wonderfully cozy, peaceful cottage in the midst of nature without mosquitoes. We enjoyed the privacy of our own with a sauna and swimming in the pond. Amazing settings and communication with Päivi was smooth.

Everything was very good!The host helped us find the house and put our boat on the water. The house was already waiting for us. Homemade honey and apples from their garden The house has everything you need:dishes, bed, clean linen, various household products,fireplace, grill, grill, firewood,instructions on how to use everything, since there is no water in the house, the host provided us with enough water in the canisters. All questions were answered immediately , no problems!!!Beautiful lake, lovely holiday home. Thank you!!!

Lovely place in nature, easy to get to with public transport if you're willing to walk a while. Extremely helpful and nice host with clear instructions to everything. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely “grandma's cottage” in a quiet location, in the middle of nature. Just what was needed, and there were two cats who really enjoyed the yard. Anu was a lovely and warm tenant, we'll definitely go again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Vesa was extremely friendly and welcoming. Very comfortable, homely accomodation. Sauna was great and we had memorable gallery visit. We'd recommend this place it was really peaceful with excellent hosts.

This is a lovely peaceful cottage with a sauna, situated by the lake. It is even easier than it looks from the photos to get from the rear terrace to the pier. I had wondered whether it might be slippery or uneven but it was fine. This is clearly their own summer cottage not a buy-to-let business. That is great because it means there are all sorts of great things they let you use. There were paddleboards and a rowing boat, there is a bbq and a fish smoker, a hammock, outdoor games, indoor boardgames and more. Of course that also means you are living with their belongings. My child pointed out she felt she had to be careful. For me, I felt there was plenty of space for all our things, it was clean and tidy for our arrival, and it felt very welcoming and comfortable. The sauna is good. Comprehensive instructions about everything, and very responsive when we asked for clarification or asked where to find things. I feel fortunate to have been allowed to stay. Sadly we stayed only 4 nights.
