Welcome to our cozy cottage right by the water with sauna, fireplace and private jetty. Here you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, magical lake views and fishing right outside the door. In winter, it is possible to swim in the ice water from the jetty, if the weather allows, ski trails are run up on the lake. The surroundings consist of berry and mushroom forests with beautiful walking paths. In the summer, you can take a ride with the rowing boat or enjoy the evening sun on the terrace. The cottage is located only 15 minutes from Falun and 45 minutes from Romme Alpin.

Steep stair to upper floor. Smoking or pets are not allowed. During the coldest season, we would prefer to have your request 48 hours before arrival so we have time to raise the temperature in the cabin.

Sveden is an excellent starting point for art, culture, nature and sports experiences and no less than 65 excursions and attractions are available in Svärdsjö. Falun can be reached in 20 minutes. Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects.
