A Historical Stay in a 15th Century Haveli!

This 15th Century Haveli (Hava+Veli – meaning a building having great ventilation) used to be the house of my forefathers one of whom was the teacher to the Maharaja’s Family and the city. The interiors of this building are untouched and are a glimpse into the history of the place. I have tried my best to keep this place intact with its historical essence yet provide modern amenities. Here, you’ll be wedged in time and have the most memorable and historical experience of your life.

Friendly & peaceful en-suite 'Jewel of Jaisalmer'!

We're a happily married English-Indian couple running this Airbnb experience in the heart of Jaisalmer. This gorgeous en-suite room has super clean bedding, fresh white towels and a sparkling bathroom ! There's a seating area too with a TV so you can chill out and relax. It's located in a quiet side street close to The Fort, the Desert, Patwon Havelli and other key tourist attractions. We have a fantastic rooftop restaurant and organise incredible camel safari experiences too.

A 15th Century stay in a Maharaja Room!

What an incredible stay! Even before we arrived Shabham was great at arranging a taxi to meet us, as we arrived out side the fort our adventure began. He greeted us on his bike to transport all our bags to his family Haveli and left us with his phone so we could use google maps to navigate the little streets through the fort. On arrival we were shown around and to our stunning room. We were in the Maharajah room and it was absolutely magnificent. Chai and relaxing before anything. We spent 2 nights here, I could have stayed longer. It feels like you’re staying in a museum! You can’t beat the location and the hospitality of our hosts was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble and great advice on how to get around. Shabham gave us an amazing tour of the fort, he is very knowledgeable and passionate and gave us great advice too for shops that are actually worth a visit. Honestly, I’ve never stayed anywhere like this, what an experience!

I stayed at this place with my sisters and it is a beautiful place located within the fort with all ameneties. it is safe and very near to the fort's sunrise point. we enjoyed our stay and are extremely grateful for aparna's helping and kind behavior. she gave great recommendations and helped us with cab bookings and luggage till the end of our trip. i highly recommended her place to stay. thanks aparna for being a great host, very grateful 🙏

It was a great stay. The place is located right in the midst of the city, it’s a 2 min walk to to the fort. You can also see the fort from the terrace, it looks spectacular in the night.

Vinod and his family was great! The views of this place was amazing and everyone was super responsive. Vinod even organized a dessert safari for us which was exactly what he described and more! He even went the extra length to give some of our group a tour and it was wonderful!

We felt like the Maharaj & Maharji! 👑💚✨ Watching the city below & birds circling around at sunrise & sunset from the roof top, delicious food in the lovely outdoor restaurant & cuddles from Jonty the friendliest little pug! 🐕 Super dooper highly recommended place to stay in the fort! What made this accommodation outstanding were our hosts! Arwin, Anil & their team were so kind & welcoming. They went above & beyond to personally care for us! We felt like part of the family. 🩷💕 And we can’t speak highly enough of Hemmit, the in-house guide! Super comfy jeep, amazing array of local sights including sunrise over the lake, camel, desert & village safaris! Hemmit is the loveliest, relaxed, funny, kind, knowledgeable man who truly looked after us like family! We would LOVE to return to this amazing city, stunning accommodation & share chai again with these beautiful people! 🙌💛✨
