My modest and welcoming home, which I share, offers travelers the means to relax, eat and above all rest. The room is large and comfortable with its queen size bed and desk facing the window. The bathroom is nice and functional. The living room and kitchen are also at their disposal for quick cooking… the south-facing terrace and garden offer them the opportunity to eat outside or sunbathe on the terrace. Finally, all the ingredients are there for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

The kitchen countertop features a black sink, a stylish Nespresso machine, and a glass jar for storage. A shelf above displays various kitchen accessories, including a wooden salt shaker and a glass pitcher. A potted plant adds a touch of greenery to the modern space.

Terrace facing the sunset and by the water. no mosquitoes at our place, we're surprised, but no mosquitoes. A home at the end of the world (or at the end of a small path) along a river. Beautiful starry sky without night or noise pollution. Pleasant shared house with large room. By car, many amenities are accessible and the possibility of visiting various old cities (Arras, Lille, Béthune, Lens). Author, the couple of owners very kindly came to see me at the City of La Couture Book Fair. THANKS again!;-)

My 90 year old mother and I had a good stay. All was well and good hosts. There is some building work next door but it didn’t disturb us.
