Cottage vacation rentals in Loches

Anna & Kevin are very responsive & we felt very welcome. The house is large (we were with 4 persons) and well equipped. The garden also has a lot to offer: nice swimming pool, cosy sitting area & hot tub. A lot to discover in the surrounding area, a car is highly recommended.

Absolutely great place to stay, the host was very kind and gave us great advice. The place was well-equipped, clean, and quiet. Hot tub was very nice, beds very comfortable. Parking big enough. The place was about 10 minutes by car to a large shopping center. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here. So tastefully decorated and everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped. The view is lovely, across a small valley and we enjoyed walking along a trail straight from the door. Martine was very welcoming. There is also a small boutique, so we stocked up on local honey. Definitely recommend staying here. Just lovely.

A short but intense stay in a very quiet and serene place. The atmosphere was colorful with Halloween decorations and warmed up by the very appreciable hot tub at the end of the day. A few relaxing nights for beautiful days of adventures in the area!

Very nice accommodation. Clean, nice, quiet. The terrace is great. Well located for making the castles of the Loire Valley. Good bedding. Ludovic is very kind. We will come back without hesitation. No air conditioning, which would probably be a problem in the summer.

The stay went very well. The accommodation is comfortable, well-equipped and located in a pleasant setting next to a small castle. The orangery is a real plus, perfect for relaxing. François is a friendly host. A property to keep in mind.

This tranquil place is perfect for a stop over or as a base to explore the region. It is close to the motorway and yet far enough from it no to be heard. There is a medium size supermarket and a large pet store nearby which is convenient. The village itself is worth a visit, especially on market day. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding of great quality. The log burner is user friendly and efficient. There is plenty of wood made available. The grounds are vast and very pleasant. Our labrador took full advantage of them. The owner is very friendly towards both dogs and people. The mairie has recently changed the street numbers but google has yet to receive the memo so it sends you to the wrong address. Make sure you double check the address with the owner before your arrival. This was a real find for us after travelling through France for 3 months. It is a perfect mid way stop over if you are travelling up or down on the west coast, especially with a dog. We'll be back:)

Nice cottage with large lawn behind it. Madeleine's cottage is next to it, the terraces are adjacent to each other (she crosses the terrace to get to her house), so when she is there, there is less privacy. That wasn't a problem for us. She was very friendly and super helpful during our stay. Bakker and Lidl are within walking distance. Chaumont-sur-Loire is a lovely village nearby. Blois and Amboise are both nice to visit.

Sandra's rental is nice, very quiet, 20 minutes' drive to some beautiful castles. The bedding is quality and the accommodation was very clean. The terrace is nice, spacious and the pool is in direct proximity. I recommend it!

We were looking for a peaceful place to base ourselves to explore La Brenne National Park and this was perfect. Tucked away in 6 hectares of beautiful grounds, surrounded by nature, Turtle doves and Nightingales singing and the heated pool was amazing, a real gem of a place. Emma and Ian couldn't have been more friendly, lovely people.

Very good. Met our expectations, more than enough for what we were doing this weekend, i.e. just sleeping there. the area is very charming, quiet, peaceful, in the middle of nature, but no amenities or shops nearby so a car is essential to get around once you're there. large garden with children's games, bicycles available. in short, a peaceful haven to rest and recharge. Proper interior, sufficient amenities, good bedding, clean. super welcoming and super friendly host, gives lots of little tips and is a good wine seller lol. I recommend to isolate and disconnect

Our stay went perfectly! The house and garden are superb and are a real haven of peace to rest and enjoy Touraine. A big thank you to David and Vincent who are very welcoming and caring hosts, everything was perfect!

As a family with young children, this home and its surroundings were perfect. The house is spotlessly clean, stylish, and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms are generous, with shutters to aid a good night’s sleep. Our only minor suggestion would be to have a more comfortable indoor sofa. The outdoor space is wonderful, with beautiful flowers and a cherry tree. The swimming pool has a cover for rainy days and is glorious to uncover when the sun is shining. The resident peacocks kept everyone entertained. Lucie is a lovely host, warm, responsive, and discreet. A bottle of their family wine waiting for us on arrival was a thoughtful touch. I enjoyed morning runs with vineyard views. The house is a 20-minute drive from charming towns, like Chinon and Azay-le-Rideau. A particular highlight was the Chinon Forte. Overall, this was the perfect blend of peaceful country living with easy access to vibrant, picturesque French towns. We look forward to our next visit.
