Struan Lodge Beauly 4 Star listing

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Susan’s lodge was a joy to stay in. We wanted a base near Inverness to do a lot of walking in the highlands, but that was comfortable to come back to at the end of the day. When we arrived, we were surprised as it seemed a larger than the pictures. It was the most well appointed airbnb we have ever stayed in. Excellent knives, 4 slice toaster, decent sized teapot and cafetiere, washing machine, even a freezer. It was lovely to wake up right next to the fields, and also a lovely spot in the evening outside, watching the swallows, swifts and chaffinches flit around and the rabbits on the grass with a glass of wine. Susan was very clear and specific in her communications, and looked after us very well. We were blessed with excellent weather, but if it had been a worse, we would have enjoyed some lowland walking, trips to Inverness and time inside the lodge. Definite book again when next in the area, so long as Susan has space!

Firthview chalet near Inverness and Beauly

RubyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cabin was very cozy. Even though it rained on the second day we arrived, it didn’t affect our stay at all. Morag was so warm and welcoming! The location of the house is great—it’s convenient to get everywhere. There’s also a fantastic forest park just a five-minute drive away, which we loved hiking in. One thing to note is that Morag’s house is near the end of the road. When you see a long wooden fence and a large green lawn, you still need to drive for about another minute. Overall, we really loved it here and will definitely come again!

Caberfeidh Log Cabin

ChrisRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We arrived early but no problem for Penny. Cabin was very clean and in a quiet road with the River Spey visible through the woods. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen had all facilities we required. Outside picnic table in the sun for much of the day. Within a stones throw of the Old Bridge Inn with great food and drink. Within easy walking distance of the centre of Aviemore for all amenities. There is a railway line at the back of the cabin but there is very little traffic and hardly noticed the trains. Thanks for a great stay. Would stay again.

Comfortable, cozy and well-equipped chalet situated in a great location for everything Aviemore has to offer. The hamper full of treats is a nice touch, and would definitely recommend for families. The only complaint is the lack of on-site recycling facilities.

Maple Lodge, Pondfauld

TobiasRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The trip started with an unforeseen delay which resulted in a very late arrival. Me met us on arrival and made us welcome. The accommodation was warm and well stocked. The accommodation was exactly as described and the setting so peaceful. Perfect for the event we were taking part in but also for a stay with friends, spouse or family. My friend was injured on a walk and the care and generosity offered by Mel and her husband were second to none. Could recommend any higher!

The Retreat at Tulloch Farm

MichelleRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Tulloch Farm is the perfect location to explore Lochaber and the Cairgorms with easy access to all the main roads. It is so peaceful on the farm. There are well laid out walks and paths around the farm and by the river which were perfect for us. We were so fortunate with the weather during our stay, but the cottage itself is cosy and warm with lots of games and books. Our children especially loved the well kitted games room onsite. Excellent recycling facilities too. We throughly recommend the Retreat at Tulloch Farm.

This is our third time staying at the Gun Club. We love the location in beautiful, peaceful surroundings and with a large, secure, enclosed area for dogs. The place is always clean and tidy and we can just turn up and set up home for a week. There is plenty of space for everything and the facilities are just what we need. We look forward to coming back time and time again!

Having the loch out every window and being able to be surrounded by the sweetest farm animals was absolute heaven! Loved every minute!

Manda's a great host. Very helpful with advice. Her house is ideally situated in the centre of Findhorn ecovillage so very handy if you needed the shop or were going to any events in the hall. Only a small walk to the coastline as well and beautiful views not far away. Her house is very peaceful.

Great stay at Bella's roomy caravan with everything you need in North Kessock! Twenty minutes to downtown Inverness and an hour or so to loads of great sites in the Highlands. Nice, quiet caravan park with lovely views. Even saw a dolphin frolicking in the firth on our first morning! Bella was responsive and made sure we were comfortable right from the start. Would recommend to others! Thanks again, Bella.

I had a great time staying at Manda's . Her place is right in the centre of the Findhorn Community, yet very quiet at night. The central location made it easy to dash in and out to pick up things or get changed. Parking was right in front of her place which was also helpful.

Brand New Beautiful Home close to Inverness

UtkarshRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay. The place is very scenic, serene and peaceful which is exactly what the photos suggest. The place had all essential amenities. The instructions were very precise regarding how to reach the place and check in, especially given the fact that the maps show an incorrect path. We were able to follow the instructions and reach the place easily. The place was very comfortable and Bella personally came to meet us just after we confirmed the check-in in order to make sure we have everything that we had everything that we need. Highly recommended in case you are looking for a comfortable place with serene views that too within a few minutes away from Inverness.
