Cosy and Cheerful

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Convenient location for exploring area, about half an hours drive to Hay (beautiful countryside). As previously mentioned some road noise from A40 but this is to be expected. Very comfy beds, practical kitchen (very clean crockery & cutlery) & good shower. Ceri checked I had all the info we needed before our stay which was very helpful. It is best to look at the parking instructions & photo before you go as the parking is shared with the neighbouring house (in the instructions). Would visit again.

Fabulous place to stay in a lovely location. The house is well stocked, clean, tidy and a really lovely and welcoming space. The welcome pack with information on restaurants, pubs, and walks in the area was incredibly useful. Lovely location right next to the canal. Would highly recommend.

A beautiful place, exceeded our expectations. We booked in order to go to the Hay festival, but were so glad we made time to explore around Treberydd, amazing house and garden and easy access to footpaths, lake and pretty church. Hafod has everything we needed, plus comfy beds and tasteful decor Lambs, goats and alpacas a bonus! Sally and Hugh are great hosts, would definitely recommend.

Valley View

We had such a wonderful stay at Steve’s place for our short family holiday. The views were absolutely out of this world, truly breathtaking and something we’ll never forget. The accommodation itself was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. The outside space was just as beautiful, with a lovely garden and the highlight being the pagoda and fire pit area. It was the perfect spot to enjoy an evening fire with a glass of wine, wrapped up in the peaceful surroundings. A huge thank you to Steve for his warm hospitality and for making us (including our beautiful dog) feel so welcome and at home. We’d love to return one day!
