Beudy'r Esgob

‘Beudy’r Esgob’ translates as ‘Bishop’s Barn’ and it used to be a hay barn and cow shed. It adjoins our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground & air strip and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers. We also have another listing, ‘Stablau’r Esgob’ which may be of interest.

Glan Rhyd -Tranquil Country Cottage

Glan Rhyd is a 200 year-old country cottage idyll, centrally situated with easy access to the whole of Anglesey. Secluded within its own tree-lined wildflower meadow alongside the River Alaw, it offers peace and tranquility second to none. The cottage is semi-detached with its own entrance, parking & facilities including modern kitchen, en suite bathroom, shower & Sky TV. The owner lives next door, and the resident (wild) owls live at the bottom of the meadow! Pets unfortunately not allowed.

Set amongst an array of pastel perfect terraced houses, 59 High Street is a unique bolt hole boasting luxury interiors, king size beds and even an outdoor bath. Situated in the perfect costal location - just a short stroll down the high street and you can explore Cemaes bay’s two beaches, as well as Anglesey’s renowned coastal path boasting breathtaking cliffside views of the sea. The Market town of Llangefni is a 10minute drive, for all the local amenities.

We are just 4 miles from the nearest beach at Cemaes Bay and close to the Cemlyn nature reserve renowned for bird watching,seal and porpoise spotting.

One bedroom on the ground floor, the second bedroom being accessed by its own staircase. ( not from the ladder in living area) Cloakroom, outside sitting/dining area and full use of all the grounds. Ample parking.
