Estuary Retreat

SundasRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My family came to visit us in South Wales and this was the perfect staycation for them. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space with lovely views. Our host Joanne was on hand and available to solve any issues. She has a lovely home with the most beautiful paintings. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking to explore South Wales with family. A home away from home.

5* Machynys Beach Apartment - Golf / Cycle Trails

AndrewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
James always replied to our messages, and when we had a clash with the original dates booked, he was as accommodating as possible. The warm & sunny weather highlighted how lovely the property is as a beach retreat, stylishly designed and fully equipped. Plenty of room to cook in the modern kitchen, and we slept very peacefully, as the area is quiet. Although there is not a great deal to do locally, the reason for choosing this spot is it's ideally situated for exploring the amazing Millennium Coastal footpath, which did not dissapoint. Thoroughly recommended for those who want to get away from it all and explore the south-wales coastline

Bay View Apartment

A very well presented apartment in a beautiful location next to the beach front with a very helpful and responsive host. Thank you!
The entrance area features a staircase leading to the first floor, with carpeted steps. A large window allows natural light to fill the space, illuminating the soft grey walls. A small seating area with an ottoman is situated beside a modern TV stand.

Tal Y Coed - Immaculate 3 bed house 1 min from M4

GarethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Chris is an excellent host. His house was perfect for what we needed. Close to the M4 but located in a quiet village with a great park for the kids nearby as well as independent convenience store and cafe. Chris was responsive and helpful and the house was clean and tidy. Thank you
A tranquil beach scene captures gentle waves lapping at the sandy shore. In the distance, a lighthouse stands on a coastal outcrop, with a red dome atop its tower. The sky is overcast, creating a serene atmosphere.

Luxury home, Coastal views, Hot tub & Pool table

DaynerRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Emily was really quick to respond to messages and so helpful. The place was spotlessly clean, not a speck of dust anywhere and felt brand new. Every single thing you could need was found in the kitchen… even down to dishwasher and laundry tablets, and the bed linen was top quality and very comfortable. Everything here felt of a great quality and very stylishly decorated - you can tell lots of money, time and love has been spent here. We had a very comfortable stay and when the weather finally cleared a little for us the view of the sea from the windows was really nice to see. We mostly enjoyed the hot tub and getting cosy in the evening with the huge sofa and big TV!
Three storage containers labeled 'COFFEE,' 'TEA,' and 'SUGAR' are arranged on a kitchen countertop. The containers feature wooden lids and cream-colored bases. A power outlet is visible on the wall next to the containers, with a small green plant in the background.

A natural rock formation frames an opening towards the sea, revealing a sandy beach and gentle waves beyond. Clear water collects in a shallow pool surrounded by smooth rocks, while the rugged cliffs rise on either side, showcasing textures and earthy tones.

The Anchorage: cosy Welsh cottage estuary views

RobynRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Louise’s cottage. It was very well located to explore the beaches and coastal walks of the Gower Peninsula. Louise provided us with some great suggestions for local eateries and food shopping which really helped with planning our day’s activities. The cottage was newly renovated and extremely well equipped and was a real home away from home for us. It was a cosy retreat to return to at the end of each day’s explorations.
