The Studio

The Studio is in the centre of one of Wales' most scenic villages at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains. It is a self-contained studio with a double bed or 2 singles, dining/sitting areas, kitchen and shower room. The Hand Hotel serves great food, best to book. Well placed for a long weekend of walking, cycling or visiting the Pontcysyllte World Heritage site, Llangollen with its heritage railway, Lake Vernwy, waterfalls and many more wonderful places. An excellent base for exploring North Wales.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set in the Welsh hills, it’s a walkers paradise or simply a relaxing place to get away from it all listening to the stream at the end of the garden. For 2024 we have introduced a hot tub so after a hard day walking you can relax in the hot tub overlooking the river. If you need to work from the cottage we now have Starlink. Rural retreat for two, not suitable for pets/animals or children.Hillview has been converted from a barn to provide very spacious and contemporary accommodation, nestling in the side of a hill overlooking a valley. Hillview is well equipped with everything that you would need for your perfect holiday. The accommodation is arranged over two floors. The living area has an Aga wood burner to keep you warm and cosy in winter and radiators in each room supplied by an oil combi boiler.
