Cil-y-Coed

We stayed at Steffan’s over the May half term for my husband’s 40th. As a party of 8 including x 4 children the house provided plenty of space for us all comfortably. A big hit with us all was the games room with a pool table and darts board that the kids and us adults had lots of fun with. All the rooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard and provided us with everything we needed. A bonus for us was the stunning view of penygader (when the cloud wasn’t low lying) and the location was really convenient for walking into Dolgellau (the Royal ship serves tasty meals) and driving to other sightseeing areas not too far away. Would definitely recommend.

Secluded Mountain Stay - Stunning Views of Eryri

NicolasRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cottage is set within a beautiful forest park, offering a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere with stunning views. Our child and dog loved having the freedom to run and play safely outdoors, and we really enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. The cottage was warm, full of character. We loved exploring the forest trails and also appreciated the convenience of nearby market towns for shopping and dining out.
An airy interior features exposed wooden beams and walls, creating a rustic ambiance. A cozy log burner is positioned near a small table and chairs, while a blue sofa invites relaxation. Triangle-shaped windows allow natural light to illuminate the space.

Chestnut House with Hot tub & Sauna

AlexRating, 5 stars1 month ago
we loved the cabin, sauna and hot tub. it was well positioned to ensure we were not over looked by other cabins. facilities were good and we loved the log burners that fuelled the sauna and hot tub. the owners provided loads of information and videos on how to use the facilities and how to find the cabin- all very helpful. we had a great weekend away and would definitely book here again. they provide one camping stove to cook on, we took ours so we had 2 stoves to cook on, this made cooking meals easier so recommend people to bring an extra stove.
A compact bathroom is visible, featuring a modern toilet and a sleek vanity with a bowl sink. Natural wood accents surround the space, while a small plant and neatly arranged toiletries enhance the decor. Soft light filters through a neighboring window.

Paradwys with shephards hut, hot tub & fire pit

Iain is a great host and the very detailed instructions meant that we didn't need any support from him for the whole of our stay - thanks ! Fantastic well-provisioned property for our family holiday in a beautiful location and with easy access to all of the surrounding attractions. The views are stunning even in the rain ! Would definitely consider another stay. p.s. Can highly recommend the pizza from The Stag Inn in town, as well as the local shops in the square.

Getaway In Dolgellau

MikeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Exceptionally quiet location - just what we wanted. Spotlessly clean & everything was perfect for us. Charlie was excellent keeping us in touch before and during our stay describing everything about the property which proved as perfect as expected. Thoughtfully decorated & the cottage had everything we needed. The view out of the kitchen window was towards the bird feeders and we were treated to a fabulous wildlife experience especially enjoying the woodpeckers, Jay, Siskin & goldfinches.

The pod we stayed in was in a beautiful setting. The showers, kitchen and snug were clean and lovely to have as the evening was cool and we were very tired. We had a very good stay.
