The tower that the house gets its name from goes back to at least 1460 with latter additions is set in four acres of gardens including a lake. The Welsh Mountain Zoo is a 5 minute drive or a minibus ride from the train station. We are based on a quiet road and a sea view from the garden. To be aware, it is not 10 minutes to Snowdon as the description says, it's a 30 minute drive.

“RIVERWOOD “ luxury ensuite bedroom

We are a 19th century refurbished stone house situated five minutes walk from Llangollen centre with off road parking. We have an abundance of activities including kayaking courses,(storage and drying available here), paddle boarding, international mountain bike downhill track. We also have numerous walks including the Offa’s Dyke path and for the less energetic a relaxing horse drawn boat experience. We are also in close proximity of the many wedding venues in the area.
