My son & I stayed at the cottage on two consecutive weekends and it was brilliant! Clean, tidy, with comfy beds and exactly as the photos. Definitely recommend it if in the area. Dewi was easy to get hold of and very helpful with suggestions on the local area.

We enjoyed our stay very much,the accommodation was nice and very clean. We were impressed that the information booklet went through all the steps that are taken to ensure the place was cleaned to a high standard. The only thing for me as an older person was that I found the futon bed was a little difficult to get up from, but it didn’t spoil our stay. Loved our stay here. Paul was a great host - he spent time giving us thoughtful recommendations and showing us the property. It was the perfect location for us to get to both Bala and Wrexham. There’s everything you could need there. Games room was really fun, with lots to do. Great size kitchen and living space too. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a break in the countryside.

Before we’d even arrived we’d had great information on how to find The Little Gatehouse with clear photos, instructions and contact numbers if needed. On arrival we were met by the cutest place, it was just beautiful, the garden was just blooming and looked so picturesque. The inside was pristine with everything you could need for a break away, the welcome basket was just wonderful with the extras you’d expect to save you nipping to the shop straight away. We also had the use of their beautiful garden to walk the dogs after our journey which was great when a dog walk is last on your list after a long drive! The dogs absolutely loved their stay and were welcomed with open arms. The only downside is that we didn’t stay longer we were sad to leave but we will definitely be returning in the future. Hosts were wonderful and I have to say a huge thank you to them for helping us find our way back after a meal in Llangollen when the road got unexpectedly closed.
