Rural retreat in Colebrook CT

Large loft apartment (600 sq. ft) attached but separate from the main house and accessible by stairs. The apartment includes a full bathroom and a full kitchen. The main house is a beautifully updated farmhouse that once was a railroad station. A walking path surrounds the perimeter of the property. Guests are welcome to stroll the gardens and the walking path and to make use of the patio/outdoor fireplace , hot tub and other outdoor sitting areas, all lovingly tended by owner Marge Parkhurst.

1890s home situated on the outskirts of town, entire second floor apartment. The apartment is bright and sunny and super comfortable with 2 bedrooms both with queen beds, 1 bathroom, eat in country kitchen fully equipped.There is a spacious living room with a smart Roku TV, (not cable ) WiFi and access to a private garden space, private entrance and off street parking. Walk to town brewery, pizza and more. Great place to relax after a day of exploring Litchfield county and the Berkshires.

The Cottage at Blackberry River Inn

The Blackberry River Inn is Bed & Breakfast, with the main house being a converted Colonial mansion built in 1763. The Inn lies nestled in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains on 27 scenic acres. Breakfast is made-to-order and served in the dining room of the main house. In addition to the main house with its 2 deluxe rooms and 2 suites, the Inn includes the Carriage House with 12 rooms, the Cottage, and an outdoor swimming pool. The Inn is located in Norfolk, founded in 1758.

This is the same 4 room rental I have listed as “Quiet West Cornwall Cottage” . Refer to that listing for all the local activities available (fishing, river trips, App.Trail, golf). I put a lock box to block off the bedroom and enclosed porch area to allow people who just need one bedroom to enjoy the area at a reduced price. You get the full kitchen, washer, dryer and living room with the queen bed, wood burning stove, tv/dvd movies. The 2 other rooms will remain vacant.
