Vacation rentals with a fireplace in L'Isle-d'Espagnac

We had a great time with the family. We took full advantage of the huge and peaceful garden. The cottage has authentic charm and is also very functional and modern. Hiking trails are easily accessible, and children were able to see sheep and other animals in the nearby fields. Communication with the host Isabelle was also very good, very responsive by message or phone. We really appreciated the flexibility on check-in and checkout times. in short, we highly recommend it, the stay was perfect.

We had a dream weekend with friends (5 people) in this beautiful house in absolute quiet in the middle of the vineyards and very well-equipped, very much above the average of rentals that stick to the bare essentials. Note the very good welcome from Lucy whose briefing is complete. A real favorite that we recommend.

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

We had a lovely time in Gisèle and her partner's outbuilding. The accommodation is very well equipped, the bedding is comfortable. The outside is very pleasant and the environment peaceful. I would highly recommend! Thanks again for everything.

Cozy house with everything you need, we felt at home. Very nice surroundings and fun for our 2-year-old to see cows, chickens and goats. Perfect with outdoor furniture both in the sun and in a small outdoor room with open doors for hot days. We received a warm welcome and will be happy to come back.

We had a lovely family stay at this characterful house in peaceful countryside. It’s well equipped for children and had everything we needed for our stay. The house was very comfortable with good beds and en suite facilities. Plenty of games and jigsaws available. The outside area is a good size with ample shade and a great pool which we all enjoyed using. Some of us had a table tennis tournament! There’s facilities including a supermarket a short drive away and plenty to explore locally. David is a very responsive and accommodating host. Thanks for a very nice family holiday!

It went very well. Super nice to have been able to enjoy the garden with our dog. The accommodation was perfect for us👌, spacious, clean and convenient with beautiful surrounding countryside! We would unreservedly recommend this listing.

Sophie is an amazing host! The cleanliness of the cottage is impeccable. the place is a haven of peace, the decor is very neat and sublime. (bouquets of fresh roses, dried petals, small welcome gift) Not to mention all the options that this property has. (Jacuzzi nearby, swimming pool, massage, comfortable bedroom and bathroom) everything is subtly thought out. As soon as we walk through the door, we enter a refined and atypical universe. Very nice apartment, tastefully decorated in the center of the village, all services are nearby. "La Toscane" restaurant is right on the doorstep, and a little further "Aux Caprices" warm welcome and tasty dishes. Thank you Alexandre. See you soon.

Very nice stay.

Lovely stay with a spacious apartment. Nice and quiet even when you are less than 1km from busy areas. The host was very helpful and friendly and gave us information about different areas around France as we were travelling around for a week. Nice comfortable, clean bed.

Very good stay in this beautiful and AUTHENTIC family home with undeniable charm. We were 4 adults and 2 children 3/4 years old: the children loved playing in the sandpit/bocce court in the garden and the educational farm nearby, we adults we loved the large friendly kitchen and the masterful bathroom with views of the countryside. Small bonus for dishes: what a pleasure to eat on cute vintage plates! The house is very old, so it was a little wet when we arrived (no surprise given the season) but once the fireplace started and the house ventilated, everything was normal. We had a fantastic time here! The house is beautiful, large, clean and well equipped. The host and hostess are super friendly and helpful. They have a very discreet presence on site. The view is truly breathtaking, the area is quiet. You can walk to the village for a bakery and shop. We highly recommend this stay!!

The setting is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers. The local town is 10 mins away, with a market. The property is a lovely old farmhouse, with lots of space and nice furniture, comfortable beds and a refreshing pool. Valerie made us feel very welcomed. A great place to unwind.
