Very spacious and beautiful basement. Perfect place for crashing after exploring the area. Host was very upfront about kids living upstairs. I'm sure if you are there a lot during the day you would hear them playing and being kids in their home. However, I didn't hear them at all past 8pm when I was back for the night. The space was perfect for me and my trip.

He is clearly a knowledgeable host and acted above and beyond to answer my situation. I travel between Washington and California several times a year. Four of us coworkers had work in the area and used the castle house as our home base. Town is only 5 minutes away and getting to restaurants and stores is very easy. This place is a real vibe. Some might call it dated, but it all works together to create a unique spot, far more fun than 4 hotel rooms. Not to mention the theater and audio system, pool table, and fish tank downstairs. The basement bedroom has no window and a curtain rather than door, but it's the most cool, dark, and quiet of them all. Overall a memorable stay and highly recommended!

Great place to stay! Conveniently located near the store and a short walk to the lake. The house was quiet and we had everything we needed provided to us and more. The host was quick to reply eveytime I reached out before our stay and throughout answering all my questions. I was able to adjust our reservation without any issues. The entire house was clean and new. The layout felt spacious.
