You can definitely get around by public transport, however, a rental car will normally be preferable. Small furnished apartment, (24.4 square meters) with all you may need of plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, pans, etc. The house is located right by the lake, and only 1.5 kilometers from Norheimsund city center. There you can find most of the groceries, cinema, beach, some restaurants, hairdresser, etc. There are many nice mountain hikes to reach just outside the door. It's a small apartment, so if you are more than two, it can get a little cramped.
