Villa vacation rentals in Linda Vista

We stayed 7 nights at Danielle’s gorgeous home and loved it. The property is private and stunningly beautiful. With a huge variety of trees, including mango, the diversity of birds is wonderful. While in the house, the view out every window is so colorful and Danielle’s sense of design in the home reflects that. The 2 bedrooms are very comfortable with perfect air flow thru the windows and overhead fans allowing for perfect sleeping conditions. The large stone lined shower is fantastic and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. We also loved the location of the house. Close to Nuevo Arenal with it’s great restaurants and right where you need to be to start your drive towards Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna activities. Danielle is also the perfect host. Checking in to make sure everything is going well and super responsive with any questions you might have. We will definitely plan to stay here in the future.

My family of 3 (with a small toddler) loved this house! We had to be a little extra careful with our new walker as there are some baby-level risks but they provide a pack and play which is wonderful. The house is clean, cozy, super comfortable, and obviously well taken care of. With windows and sliding doors open it truly stays cool enough without the AC. We used the pool a couple of times which also has a beautiful view. We loved listening to and watching all the countless birds, some of which had just incredible birdsong. We adored Nuevo Arenal which is 15 minutes away and is such a cute little town. It was a wonderful stay all in all, so happy we found this house.

I cannot say enough about how great this stay was our bnb was amazing, but our trip was truly made by Guillermo! He is a local who has a transportation service and was recommended by Rafael. He not only drove us from place to place regardless the time or distance with a smile on his face and became a part of group( inside jokes and all!)

House was clean, we loved the pool and hot tub. Kids definitely enjoyed it. Very nice location, felt secure in the neighborhood. We’ll definitely be back.

From beginning to end, everything was absolutely perfect. Arnaldo was so easy to communicate with and answered all questions quickly. I knew this place would be gorgeous but the pics really do not do justice to how insanely gorgeous the property truly is. I would 10000% stay again if in area. Felt like luxury! Truly loved this spot sooooo very much! Only a 15 min drive to La Fortuna center. Thank you, Arnaldo and family! We could not have been more pleased!! Wonderful stay!!!

Bryan was very helpful with instructions and local recommendations. The villa was beautiful and matches beyond our expectation. Staff were friendly, breakfast was amazing. Across from Místico park and only 10 minutes drive to the natural springs. Views were incredible, host and staff were friendly. I definitely recommend the place and would stay here again. Thank you

Beautiful estate with ample room for my group of 14 and then some! Beautiful deck with spectacular views for morning and sunset yoga practice, chefs kitchen with everything our private chef needed! Very clean with comfy beds. Responsive host with onsite coordinator that helped troubleshoot any issues and problems.

We were two families with teenage kids and really enjoyed the sleeping arrangements and that each adult couple and sets of kids had their own bungalow. The area was peaceful and just outside of town but quick and easy drive/ride into town (no problem Ubering to town). It’s a very authentic accommodations but still had AC and full kitchen. The owner was very helpful and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great home with a centralized location. Very walkable to nearby shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. Our group of 6 had plenty of space to share and relax. Mario and Carlos went above and beyond to help coordinate our transportation and excursions. The house had many amenities including air conditioners in each bedroom and box fans that can be used in the common areas if you need to cool off after a long day of activities. Two bedrooms have excellent closet space and the other two have space to spread out personal items. The 4th bedroom and laundry room are secluded towards the back of the house but you may need a raincoat since there is not a covered path. The condensation in the fridge may pool on the top shelf - be mindful of any items you may store. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful place in a secure gated community!

Our group of 8 adults and 2 teenagers stayed at Allan & Jorge’s villa, and it exceeded all our expectations. The villa offered the perfect balance of privacy and a shared space, ideal for our group. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and communication with our hosts was seamless. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift of fruit and drinks. Thank you, Allan & Jorge!

The home is as described and almost new. The pool area was a highlight although we had a difficult time working the controls for the spa so more detailed instructions in English would have been beneficial. The kitchen was very well equipped, better than any we have experienced previously. Nice place we would stay again.

Absolutely stunning stay! The host was incredibly responsive and gave us a full tour upon arrival. He was also very flexible as our arrival time changed due to traffic and flights. The pictures don’t do the property justice—it’s immaculate, peaceful, and beautifully designed with thoughtful details throughout. You’re fully immersed in the rainforest with the sounds of wildlife and even a family of sloths on site! There are so many areas to relax and enjoy nature. The on-site staff was attentive and helpful with anything we needed. Even though there are a few other homes on the property, it still felt very private and secluded. Perfect for both small and large groups, with the option to rent the entire estate. Highly recommend and would love to return! Thank you, Andy!

Amazing place to stay with friends or family and close to La Fortuna downtown and the El Salto rope swing. Great backyard with grill and pool that is covered from the rain.

Stayed there with a very large family group including children, infants, and toddlers. Host was helpful and gracious with check-in and stayed in touch throughout our stay to make sure everything was fine. The space fit our group great. The pool was a hit with the youngsters. It was an easy walk to downtown La Fortuna whenever anyone wanted to get out. Just what we needed.

Great spot in a quiet neighborhood, close to the supermarket and restaurants. We walked to the Red Frog several times for coffee and meals. 20 min drive to Arenal Park and Mystico. Great touches around the home. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at Sunset House! Randall was very responsive to all of our questions. The kitchen was well stocked for the nights we decided to cook in. The location was convenient- close to restaurants and a lot of the attractions. We even saw sloths on our walk around the property! The only hiccup that we had was unlocking the door from the inside, as the lock is a bit sticky

Very smooth check-in. Home had everything we needed. Liked the privacy. Locked gate. Neighborhood was friendly. Very safe location. Away from the city. Host provided excellent communication and was always available. High end stove and washer but figured out. Appreciate the pitcher of cold water. There was available extra towels, paper towels, blankets, etc. Liked the generosity of those essential items.

Marco was an amazing host. He was very responsive and helped us with anything that we needed. The property was beautiful. Felt private, loved the little lounge pool and the hammocks all over the property. The back patio was nice and big and we could sit out there and watch the rain and the animals. We saw howler monkeys and tons of birds since Marco puts fruit out for them every day. Having a washer and dryer was an added bonus. The location was perfect and super close to town. Each room had its own AC unit which kept the place nice and cool.

Great, unique stay. Would visit again. Pros: - Amazing jungle locale. Gorgeous gardens. Hosts have really designed this place with love. I chose this place specifically for the remote location, which has a lot of plusses, since La Fortuna can be a bit of a zoo. - Spent hours on front porch finding birds with the Merlin app -- highly recommend. - Well built house with many artistic touches all over. Cons: - Remote location makes dinner strategy important. We drove back at night a few times, which is tricky with the local roads. Takes about 20m. - Furniture is a little flimsy. Beds/pillows are just ok. Consider providing suitcase stands. - River & golf access have been cut off by new construction in the area. We spent about 20 minutes trying to get to both with no success. - Hot tub does not get hot, or really even warm. Listing does not say "hot tub", but when people see a picture of a pool and hot tub, they assume it's a hot tub.
