An amazing experience! The accommodation exceeded our expectations: everything was impeccably clean, the decor was cozy and modern, and no detail was missing. The bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood quiet, ideal for resting. The host was very friendly, attentive and was always available to answer any questions. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Carlos’ house was, without exaggeration, the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. If you’re headed to LaFortuna, this is where you should stay. The house was immaculately clean, the location is very private, the pool was awesome, and you can’t beat waking up to the views of Arenal volcano. A short drive to all the restaurants, shops, and grocery stores downtown. Very close to all the tours and hot springs we booked. Do yourself a favor and book this house.

The Cabin in San Carlos is a special place located 7-8 minutes from downtown La Fortuna, offering private horseback rides around the farm, walkways making the forest an explorers paradise and a comfortable home for resting in a serene space! Arriving late in town from San Jose, we opted to do the horseback ride, and it helped set the mood for a wonderful trip around Costa Rica, providing a unique timely experience of the native wildlife, with views of the volcano. After the horseback ride, the owners took us into their arms taking the time to explain varios plants, shared a local pineapple beverage, cacao and in search for amphibians, including seeing the elusive red eyed tree frog which was a treat! The home provides a firm mattress with plenty of kitchen space. An outdoor area with seating to enjoy a morning coffee and a small jacuzzi tub, with a unique private outdoor shower attached to the room. Overall, highly recommend staying here and soaking in a more private CR experience!

Willy was a great host! Very responsive. It was our first trip to Costa Rica. Willy will recommend places to eat and things to see. The neighborhood was safe to walk around and close enough to downtown restaurants. The rain never even bothered us.

Be sure to pick up everything you need before you head up because it's a trek to town. El Tigre Waterfalls is a must and you can't go wrong with any of the ziplines. Put this on your list!
