Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Limousin

Everything you hope for in a AirBNB/ Gite in France! We stayed one week with our teenage kids this October. The house is old but has every comfort needed including a large fire place and a washing machine. The atmosphere is right and every room is decorated in a unique way. The garden is large with lots of places to sit, lounge and a table to have breakfast, lunch and even a bbq for dinner. We spend lots of time in the hot tub and at the very nice heated pool. Pascale is a wonderful host, she waited for our late arrival, she had snacks and even breakfast for us to get started, she provided nice bathrobes and towels for the pool, had great local recommendations and was always available for a chat. The place is a little secluded but that was just right for us. Lot’s of fields and forests with plenty of wildlife, we did lots of long hikes with the dog. And for a visit to the market, a restaurant, castles, etc most places are less than 30 minute drive. Highly recommended!

Stunning place to stay with lovely pool although we didn’t use it as we were so busy out sightseeing. The house is beautiful and the fresh breakfast provided daily was excellent. Both hosts were extremely helpful in suggesting places to visit. There is so much to do in the area and wished we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend a stay here. It would have been nice if the bar in the village had been open in the evening and as long as you are prepared to drive there are lots of places to eat nearby.

We had a lovely time at Claudine’s. It’s a beautiful setting and the rooms are arty and unique. The grounds are really beautiful and Claudine is friendly and welcoming. My kids loved the dogs and the donkeys and were sad to leave.

Le séjour chez Annick a été excellent !! Annick et son mari sont très accueillants et très sympathiques, la chambre est spacieuse, bien équipée et très propre. La maison est dans un bel environnement calme et parfait pour se rendre au Futuroscope notamment, et éviter les hôtels sans charme dans une zone industrielle. Les enfants et moi-même avons également fortement apprécié les petits-déjeuners, copieux, délicieux et avec des produits du jardin et fait maison. Je recommande donc cette chambre d’hôte sans réserve et remercie encore Annick et son mari pour l’accueil.

Emmanuelle est très sympathique et nous a mis à disposition sa salle de petits déjeuners pour dîner car beaucoup de restaurants étaient fermés. La chambre est très agréable et le petit déjeuner délicieux et copieux ( pain et croissants frais, brioche, fruits etc..) Une belle adresse , au calme, pour visiter les sites et villes environnantes.

Ady est une personne très accueillante et humaine. Son logement est très agréable, situé dans un très joli village avec une vue imprenable sur les monts du Cantal. Pendant ce séjour, nous avons rencontré des personnes très sympathiques et avons partagé des soirées improvisées autour d'une guitare où tout le gîte s'est réuni pour chanter. Nous envisageons d'y retourner l'an prochain.

Peaceful countryside home with a fantastic view of the castle on the hill. It was nice to spend time in the garden, the room has everything you need, including a mini kitchen area with a microwave. The room is very pretty, the bed is quite soft but still comfortable, for those who may be used up firmer beds. There are many beautiful villages, restaurants, and activities nearby. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s charming and historic home. We loved wandering in the beautiful garden and feeding the donkeys. The scenery around Autoire is gorgeous and there are lovely walks/hikes nearby. We also enjoyed visiting a neighboring village and castle. Sarah and Glenn went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. They cooked us a delicious dinner one night and offered us use of the kitchen on other nights. They always made sure we had everything we needed. She and Glenn were warm, friendly and gracious hosts. Highly recommend!

Merci à Laurence et son époux pour l’exceptionnel qualité de leur accueil et leur logement incroyablement bien situé à proximité de la majorité des lieux touristiques de la région. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Quant au petit déjeuner, c’était parfait !

L’alloggio di Evelyne è veramente confortevole e riservato. Sia lo spazio interno ben arredato che l’esterno sono fatti a posta per rilassarsi in mezzo al verde. Colazione molto varia e di ottima qualità , i proprietari sono cordiali e gentili ,sempre pronti a dare consigli sulle bellezze del posto.

Amazing people, amazingly peaceful place and amazing food. We had a beautiful 3 nights with Magali and Fabian and their cuddly dog Tess. We were treated like family and loved the whole experience. Magali is a great cook and we ate on the peaceful terrace every night. The accommodation has a beautifully rustic but quality feel and it feels special. The pool is a delight and we had all we needed, we just had to ask. Merci Magali and Fabian x

We enjoyed our stay at Julien and Aurelias beautiful 15th century home located in the Medieval town of Autoire. Our room was nice and cozy with a nice breeze from window, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom . We enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and their delightful playful Border Collies. Aurelia booked us dinner reservations in nearby towns and we enjoyed hiking at the nearby cascade falls and our stay in the beautiful picturesque medieval town of Autoire.

We zijn hier 1 nacht geweest. Prima geslapen op een prachtige locatie. Ik kan Denise’s verblijf van harte aanbevelen.

Magnifique petit studio rénové dans une bâtisse en pierre disposant de tout le confort ! Catherine est très accueillante et le p’tit dej est extra 👌🏼. Plusieurs petites terrasses à votre disposition pour profiter d’un calme absolu !

Wunderschönes Herrenhaus in absolut ruhiger Lager. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind wunderbar eingerichtet und man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause. Es gibt sogar einen Pool und einen kleinen Fluss am Grundstück. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und ein guter Start in den Tag. Keith und Anita sind tolle Gastgeber und man kann sich super mit ihnen über Gott und die Welt unterhalten. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und daher leider nur eine Nacht bei den beiden, im Nachhinein wären wir gerne noch etwas länger gebieben.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment chez Sylvie et Thierry, des hôtes aux petits soins qui nous ont permis de vivre un vrai séjour de déconnexion totale avec le quotidien ! Le lieu est magnifique, la maison rénovée avec goût et le cadre extrêmement paisible

Manuela et Manu sont des hôtes naturellement charmant qui savent accueillir dans les règles de l art, leur logement est un petit cocon au sein d une Corrèze chaleureuse, un très bon point de départ pour visiter le secteur ou pour se reposer dans cette oasis, ils connaissent le coin par cœur et sont d excellents conseils,

Our 1 night stay with Gaby and Werner was just wonderful! We could have easily have stayed a few nights longer if time would have permitted. The B and B is located in a beautiful location, the house is nothing short of stunning, we really appreciated the history of the home and the fact Gaby and Werner were happy to explain the history of the home. The house is so warm, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We opted to enjoy the 3 course meal, wow, the quality of the food and wine was first class. We loved meeting Kiki the dog and the four cats, makes it so homely. The absolute best part for us was the conversations we enjoyed with Gaby and Werner, such kind and friendly people. We recommend this B and B, try to stay more than one night!

Excellent séjour chez Nadine ! Airbnb parfaitement conforme à la description, très soigné, chez des hôtes très accueillants, et situé dans un environnement calme et naturel... on y resterait bien !

Tony & sas sont vraiment des personnes très agréables, qui s'intéressent aux autres. Leur maison est un réel havre de paix où l'on peut se ressourcer. Nous les remercions chaleureusement pour l'accueil que nous avons reçu !

Un grand merci à Christianne et Wilco pour leur accueil. Nous avons passé un super séjour dans le gite qu ils proposent, l espace piscine et cuisine extérieur nous ont permis de très bons moments de détente avec nos enfants. Christianne et Wilco sont aux petits soins et toujours prêts à donner de bons conseils. Le gite est parfaitement situé pour visiter le Périgord noir. Un vrai havre de paix. Merci 🙏

Excellent séjour chez Peter & Penny, très attentionnés et à l'écoute, nous avons passés une magnifique soirée à vos côtés ! La cuisine de Penny est incroyable, nous sommes pressé de revenir !

Nous y sommes passé mi juin, hameau magnifiquement fleuri et tres paisible. pour arriver à la piscine il faut passer un un labyrinthe de plantes et de fruitiers très enchanteur. on s'y sent bien et il fait frais dans la maison avec des murs à l'ancienne très epais. Sylvain et Marie étaient tres chaleureux.
