A getaway in the forest, with a short distance from the city. No road to the house, but approx. 45 min. on foot or on skis from the gate. The gate is accessible by car or public transport. Enjoy a stay with recreation and rest, away from a busy everyday life. A simple cabin with wood-burning stove, outdoor toilet and drinking water on can, with wifi and power from solar cells. The area offers beautiful pine forests and miles of hiking trails. Feel the pulse rise in the hills - or slow down and just let your thoughts run wild on the terrace.

Enjoy your morning coffee by the kitchen counter or on the porch with the same great view you see from the bed. Right outside the door, you can follow the walkway down to the city, jump on the bus (which also stops right outside the door and takes 12 minutes to Strømsøtorg and the train station), or you can take the path up to Nordbykollen with panoramic views from the lookout tower. The nearest grocery store is 3 minutes away by car.

Lower your pulse to the top of the Post Cabin! Stolpehytta is 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum Municipality, just off the Høyt & Lavt Modum climbing park. Here you can find quiet among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view of the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just room for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent electric bikes, stroll down to the climbing park, or explore the local community.

Here you have everything you want from shops, restaurants and nightlife in the immediate vicinity and great hiking opportunities. The apartment is on the first floor, and comes with a parking space in the backyard. 60 m2; living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms w/double bed 150 cm, hallway, entrance hall, bathroom with washer/dryer and storage room.
