It has oak tree parquet, renovated widows, a small kitchen, bathroom with underfloor heating. The sight from the windows features towers of the New Castle and the church of St. John. Apartment surrounded by two parks. The May Park (with the black swans and playground) is across the street. The Medieval castle is around the corner. Free car park is available in the yard, a nice extra.

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

Very beautiful and cozy cabin. Great details, very thoughtful. Liked the bed upstairs and the solution with foldable stairs. Although there is neighbours in 80m or so - we didnt felt their presence while we stayed there. Cabin is not very distant from highway, but this place is very quite and full of wildlife. Loved our stay!

The bathroom features dark tiled walls with a modern design. A compact sink is positioned beside a wall-mounted mirror. A heated towel rack is installed for convenience, and the toilet is located at the far end, optimizing space utilization.

Nu jau otro reizi nedēļas nogali pavadijām šajā mājā! Viss izcili, un to jau mēs zinājām! Varu piebilst, ko šeit īpaši ievēroju, sīkumi, kuri var arī nebūt, lai būtu izcili! Bet ir....pazīstama zīmola kvalitatīvi dušas, matu mazgāšanas līdzekļi, saskaņotas krāsas dvieļi, atbilstoši interjēram, pat eksterjēram, durvju fiksētāji, līdz pat skapju eņģēm, trauku mazgājamā mašīna, un tā var turpināt un turpināt....Ir padomāts nevis par visu, bet piedomāts stipri vairāk! We had a very pleasant stay at this accommodation. The room was spacious and well-equipped with everything I needed, including a small kitchenette with a kettle and fridge. The room was clean and tidy, which made the stay even more comfortable. It was also convenient to park the car right in front of the room. Taking the dog outside was easy as well, with plenty of space nearby for walks. The only unusual aspect of the stay was when, on the second day, a man arrived at the door to collect a dog fee, which hadn't been mentioned in advance. I had notified the host about bringing pets when I made the reservation, so this was a bit of a surprise. Otherwise, everything was great, and I would definitely recommend this place.
