This cozy apartment is fully accommodated and furnished as our family with two kids lives here in winter time. It has oak tree parquet, renovated widows, a small kitchen, bathroom with underfloor heating. The sight from the windows features towers of the New Castle and the church of St. John. Apartment surrounded by two parks. The May Park (with the black swans and playground) is across the street. The Medieval castle is around the corner. Free car park is available in the yard, a nice extra.

Hillside's Rest Nest

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

Our wonderful holiday property "Dabas Mājas" ("Nature Home") is the ideal place for your family's dream retreat. Only 90-minute drive away from Riga, the house is located in an idyllic and green area overlooking water. It's the perfect spot if you want to take a break from the everyday city busyness. The apartment is 800 meters from the train station, 900 meters from the bus station and “Pauku pines”. There is a free parking in the yard. The Green studiot is in a minimalist style, but with everything you need for a longer stay. It's possible to accommodate an additional guest, as the Danish design - Innovation Living sofa is extendable.

The apartment is close to the city center and the bus station. 100 meters away there is also a river Gauja and walking/cycling trails. There are also rocky Goat rapids and Feeling Park nearby, which are popular walking/relaxing spots. The grocery store is 3 min walk, as well as there is a parking lot for parking near the house itself. The building also has a backyard and garden with a canopy and a fire pit that can be used to coordinate with hosts.
