We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

Welcome to our new Chalet Habichtswald, located at the foot of the Hoher Dörnberg in the Habichtswald Nature Park. Our small wooden house is located in a very nice hillside location right next to a riding stable for Icelandic horses. The property offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and the gliding airfield on the Dörnberg on all sides. The Friedrichstein hiking parking lot is in the immediate vicinity and offers access to various premium hiking trails.

We offer a cozy apartment in a modern country house style with balcony in the middle of nature. Whether for two or with kids, the approx. 80 sqm apartment is perfectly equipped. Our apartment is lovingly decorated, located on the 1st floor and is about 50 square meters. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a cozy sitting area. The bedroom has a 180 x 200 double bed and in the living room there is another sleeping accommodation, a 140 x 200 bed. Right next to the apartment is a large roof terrace with beautiful views, which is for your use only. The historic city center, supermarket and train station are within walking distance.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
