The property is family friendly with play equipment in the backyard. Additional amenities include outdoor shower, fire pit, Keurig, mini refrigerator, microwave, and dishware. This charming cottage is a great romantic getaway. It is cozy and an easy walk into the historic town of Lewes ~ many great restaurants are nearby. Lewes is a fascinating & historic town with so much to do: biking, canoeing, birding, beach time, museums, and more. The doors of the Cottage have low head jams and the stairs are compact. There is some noise from the nearby road ~ a white noise machine is provided. The cottage is compact, the refrigerator for the Cottage is a small one.

For years, we searched for the perfect beach getaway: secluded, tranquil, yet close to attractions. We found it in Beachwalk. Peaceful. Private. Conveniently located at the quiet southern end of Broadkill Beach. While the north side is denser with homes and more crowded, the southern end provides a more private beach experience with far fewer visitors. The ideal beach retreat where it's just you, the sand, and the sea.
