This modern cottage is part of Piesta Kuusikaru farm, our family home, set on the bank of Pärnu river in Soomaa region in western/central Estonia. The cottage is a bright and spacious 2-storey building, designed in nordic style, with wood-burning sauna. Perfect for one family or close friends; ideal for 2 persons, fine for 4 plus an infant sleeping in baby cot. We live onsite and will be happy to show you around the farm including organic apple orchard and the "slow food" production facility.

The guest house has all necessary amenieties to enjoy a peaceful stay to unwind and get away from the hussle of the city. Enjoy the river, forests and nearby lakes.

This house is the perfect escape from routine and focusing to people, but if you need, the house is equipped with every modern convenience including WiFi and TV (Telia and Netflix). Rooms are warm and the floors are heated, so you don`t have to worry about cold feet in winter. You are welcome to take a bubble bath in cozy outdoor hot tub.

🏡 Welcome to Saueaugu Guesthouse – open year-round! The house is tastefully renovated in a contemporary rustic style. The guesthouse offers peaceful views of open fields and a small forest. Our farm is home to Nordic sled dogs – guests may meet them or join guided hikes for an additional fee, and enjoy sled rides during the snowy winter season. Atsaare on ajalooline talukoht, mis on leidnud viimase viie aasta jooksul uue hingamise ja mis ikka veel areneb ning uueneb. Erilisemaks teeb selle kohta see, et maist- augusti lõpuni on tegemist aktiivse taluga, kus kasvatakse köögivilja. Kuna talvel köögivilja kasvatada ei saa, siis rendime oma pesakest toredatele inimestele välja.

The house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable, including three bedrooms, separate toilet and shower, a full kitchen with a large dining table and a living room with a fireplace in the heart of the house. In addition there is a wood-fired sauna and private access to the river, so you can hop right in from the sauna or take a sup-board or rowing boat and have an adventure on the water.

We are just a few kilometres from the Pärnu city border, with the city centre and beach only a 15-minute drive away. Enjoy a peaceful stay in nature while staying close to the vibrant life of Pärnu. The Raeküla health and ski trails are about 2 km away, offering year-round outdoor activities. Nearby you will also find motocross and ATV tracks as well as a disc golf course. The perfect place to combine privacy, nature, and an active holiday.

The barn is built in 1892 and the bedroom still carries its historic feel with the hand cut lodges and many well preserved details like the original ceiling. Most of the materials are re-used, which adds to the feeling of the space. A grand romantic view over the fields will give a feeling of remoteness and escaping everyday.

This compact, all-comfort cottage is located on the shores of a small waterfront in Kuiaru, Pärnu county, by the road Pärnu-Rakvere-Sõmeru. Pärnu’s city line is a 15-minute drive away. The house is located on the same property as our family home, but it is still private and conveniently accessible. The nearest grocery stores and petrol station are located in Selja (4 min) and Sindi (9 min).
