The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

Enjoy the pool, let yourself be lulled by the birdsong, breathe in the fresh air: it's the perfect place to meet, rest, share good meals, and simply enjoy.

In the heart of the Lauragais, in the middle of the sunflower fields and away from the village, in a preserved and serene setting, come and explore a true haven of peace. This charming old building, recently renovated, promises you an unforgettable cocooning moment. Wake up amid vineyards and enjoy direct access to the serenity of the estate. A large shaded garden awaits you for naps to the song of cicadas or family meals in the great outdoors. Close to the Canal du Midi for your bike rides and near the medieval city of Carcassonne.
