The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

In the heart of the Lauragais, in the middle of the sunflower fields and away from the village, in a preserved and serene setting, come and explore a true haven of peace. This charming old building, recently renovated, promises you an unforgettable cocooning moment. Quietly located, this two-bedroom apartment is very easy to access and will seduce you for your hikes and walks around Lake St Férreol, accessible in 5 minutes on foot. No smoking, but an outdoor area is available. Pets not allowed, thank you for your understanding. Our accommodation is equipped with a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, as well as a kettle and a toaster. The beds are made upon arrival and bath towels are at your disposal.

You can enjoy the terrace and the park, which are directly accessible from the kitchen, as well as the pool, which is shared among all the guests of the domaine.
