The Gite de la Maison de Pierre is close to Revel and its magnificent market under the belfry, also close to Castres and its houses clinging to the river, but it is especially nestled in a green setting, park of an old royal abbey of the 16th century, at the foot of the Montagne Noire. The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

Quietly located, this two-bedroom apartment is very easy to access and will seduce you for your hikes and walks around Lake St Férreol, accessible in 5 minutes on foot. No smoking, but an outdoor area is available. Pets not allowed, thank you for your understanding. Our accommodation is equipped with a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, as well as a kettle and a toaster. The beds are made upon arrival and bath towels are at your disposal.

La Forge is an intimate wood-and-stone tiny home designed for a fully immersive nature escape. With panoramic Pyrenean views, it’s a peaceful space to slow down, rest, and reconnect. Inside: a double bed, equipped kitchen, workspace, wifi, and a wood-burning stove. A private dry toilet is attached, with a full bathroom in the nearby shared house. The cottage has been renovated in a 17th century abbey farmhouse, and can comfortably accommodate 4 people. Dive into the pool, or visit the region; Carcassonne and Albi, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, or Toulouse are about 1 hour drive away.
