My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.

It is about 25 min from the airport, and 30 min from Helsinki center by car. Supermarkets are just 5 min away by car. Able to fit up to 4 persons (double bed on the loft + separate bedroom). Our stay was an amazing getaway! The cabin was so peaceful, surrounded by trees and birds. We managed to cook all our meals in the cabin, and Rasmus was responsive and helpful. Although there is no running water, there was enough water available for our needs. We even borrowed bikes to cycle to a nearby hiking nature area, which was the cherry on top. A great stay near the city!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Antti's house. The location on a peninsula on the lake was spectacular - lake views on both sides of the house. The house itself was lovely - very clean, comfortable well equipped and tastefully decorated. Even better than the photos. We really appreciated all the outdoor games and played a lot of croquet and Frisbee golf - Antti even bought a football so the kids could play, they were thrilled. Antti was a fantastic host - so helpful and kind and gave us a tour when we arrived. The real stand out though was the lake. Majestic was the word my husband used to describe the view. So beautiful and we were watching it and in it every day swimming and on the paddleboards/ in the row boat. The sauna with lake views was great too. We hope to be back.

Jaako and his wife were superb hosts. I stayed in a historic wooden house with a fascinating history. It had been tastefully renovated while retaining its original features. The kitchen was absolutly fantastic too. Charging the rental Electric Vehicule was free of charge. The house is connected to the local government tap water system, which was superb!!! When I go back to visit Helsinki I will definitely try to rent this amazing place again. Although it's close to Helsinki, You feel like you're living in the countryside. Thanks!
