El Hostal es muy lindo adentro, está limpio, pudimos dejar las malestas antes y después de check-in/check-out. Las actividades que proponen son muy interesantes y está en el centro de la ciudad cerca de lugares turísticos y restaurantes.

Buena ubicación, buen ambiente y piscina para refrescarse :)

We loooved it here! Was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. It‘s a very calm place and not much going on at the accommodation which was good for us as we enjoyed recovering from the day trips here. The staff was so kind and helpful. It takes 15-20mins to walk to the city center but we always felt safe walking even in the dark so it wasnt a problem.

J’ai séjourné 5 jours à Barca de oro avec mes amis. Sandrine et sa fille Gopal ont été extrêmement accueillantes et d’une grande aide tout au long de notre séjour. La séance de yoga était super, l’activité avec les bébés tortues était géniale et le guide très gentil. La cabane écologique nous a offert un moment de déconnexion dans la nature, tout en étant très bien équipée. Les petits déjeuners étaient excellents et les repas végétariens de même. Merci encore pour ce séjour et bonne continuation

Mano a Mano was exceptional accommodation! the other people at the hostel were amazing!, food was exceptional, sunset views beyond description! had the time of my life and will go back for sure!!!

Great hostel, super clean and nice rooms. Appreciated the air conditioning and the plunge pool helped keep cool. Breakfasts were good as were kitchen facilities. Security taken seriously and there is a nice vibe as it's a smaller hostel and easy to get to know other guests. Nice places to lounge around and staff were helpful

Wir waren mit unseren 2 Kindern in Leon und das Hostel ist eines der besten für uns gewesen - so gut, dass wir nochmal für ein paar Tage dorthin zurückgekehrt sind. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet, das kostenlose, köstliche Frühstück ein tolles Plus und der kleine Pool für Kinder perfekt. Alles ist blitzblank sauber und die Gemeinschaftsräume sehr geräumig. Der Billardtisch, die vielen Hängematten und das große Bücherregal sowie die vielen Spiele waren toll. Wir können es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Our group of 12 (3 children) and adults really enjoyed our time at Jake’s! We spent the early morning in the center of Leon and then headed that way closer to check - in. Place was easy to find (if you are not from Nicaragua) we recommend you use location app Waze because Jakes place is marked there for easy find. The place is very clean and rooms offer all comforts- each have their own bathrooms and AC. The poo was perfect for the children and the place offers plenty outdoor showers to wash off the sand. There is a kitchenette attached to a bedroom (if you are renting the whole space) and a full kitchen for your use. They offer recommendations for restaurants but Ana, one of their staff, who we absolutely adored and was so nice and on it, ended up cooking for us. Breakfast was delicious and we wish we could have stayed for more than one night, but due to our schedule we were not able to. Access to water is phenomenal and almost flat with no rocks

Sehr atmosphärisches, stilvoll gestaltetes Kolonialhaus in perfekter Lage. Kathedrale, Museen, Markt, alles nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und trotzdem ist das Hotel ruhig. Das Team ist freundlich, das Frühstück lecker. Absolute Empfehlung!

cet hotel est tellement beau, encore plus beau que sur les photos. nous avons adoré notre séjour. l'hôtel est parfaitement situé, nous avons garé notre voiture facilement et avons pu tout faire à pied. je reviendrai ici sans hesiter la prochaine fois. je le recommande à 100%

très bon emplacement pour cet hôtel. l'équipe de la réception est très réactive et pleine de bons conseils. la piscine est un vrai plus. l'ambiance est très sympa. je recommande.

definitely recommend staying here, is a full place to stay, they have a gym, pool and nice ambient to meet people and enjoy the room. Close to the center and just a good place to meet people!

I really wish I could rate Darren’s place with more stars than 5, this place is the best in las peñitas, it’s beautiful and the staff is very friendly from start to end of your stay. Plus, jake’s such a wonderful company too!

Wunderschöne Anlage und sehr schöne Zimmer. Eine definitiv zu empfehlende Unterkunft, um zu entspannen und zu genießen. Der Pool ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Catalina hat auch hervorragendes Essen, welches ein bisschen teurer ist als außerhalb, aber es lohnt sich sehr. Kartenzahlung möglich. Würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

I doubt this review will be able to fully capture the experience we’ve had with Darren and his staff during our stay at Jake’s, however… I will give it my best shot. Choosing to stay at this location was made by my partner and I through complete random selection. Going into it, we only booked 2 nights yet inevitably had to extend for an additional 2 due to the environment Darren has created in his space. Normally my interactions with the hosts are friendly yet minimal- with Darren, we would now consider him a friend. Someone who we got to share food and stories with, laugh with and even have a couple drinks with. He went above and beyond to make sure my partner and I were fully taken care of regardless of how busy his days were. It’s the spot to hang, even the locals are well aware of this. So to the whale whisperer himself, thank you for everything - you have one unique soul that Jack and I are so grateful we got to meet. - Jack & Lou

Unser Aufenthalt in Catalinas Unterkunft war sehr angenehm. Sie und ihr Mann betreiben das Airbnb mit viel Engagement und haben uns freundlich empfangen. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert, und sie haben uns hilfreiche Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Die Unterkunft selbst ist gut ausgestattet und sauber. Besonders die ruhige Lage hat uns gefallen – ideal, um nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag zu entspannen. Alles war so, wie beschrieben, und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft! Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. & übrigens, die Paella ist ein absoluter Muss! Eine der besten, die wir jemals gegessen haben.
