I have endeavored to create a comfortable space that provides a wonderful base for adventuring. The walls are covered in local art, I love showcasing local artisans. Paintings are reminiscent of Nelson and are for sale. The beautiful king sized bed and live edge wood counters are taken from sustainably harvested trees and created by a local craftsman. The upstairs is spacious and features a wood burning stove. The downstairs is a beautiful grotto bathroom with a sunken tub big enough for two.

John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed or take a bath in the outdoor tub (May - Oct). Have a romantic getaway, or bring your family of 3 and make use of the twin futon. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private, unshared outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and linen robes are provided to complete the spa experience. Our property borders the Selkirk Loop walking trails, is near Selkirk College and the Regional Airport. The bungalows provide a clean, comfortable stay with all the amenities including fully stocked kitchen and stylish furnishings.
