A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. Me and my GF stayed here for 2 nights and from the moment we arrived we felt we made the right choice booking this beautifully located cabin by the lake. Everything was as described. Tina was an exceptional host who made us feel welcomed. This little slice of paradise was secluded enough to offer peace and quiet yet close enough to wolfville and surrounding areas to go out and enjoy some nice food at the local restaurants. Id highly recommend this spot if youre looking for a nice relaxing weekend by the lake to kick back and unwind.

Kaycee’s cottage was sweet, comfortable, and quiet. Our toddler loved the front lawn to play with his monster trucks and the beach (where he also played with his monster trucks!). We got to see lots of beautiful bird life and even a lady slipper! Our stay was lovely and we had all the comforts we needed. Our family would certainly visit again! Thanks, Kaycee!

Everything was wonderful at this cottage and guest house that accommodates 8 people! Despite the rain on the weekend we selected, we had a beautiful family getaway. Alex and family have a beautiful spot on a quiet lake. The cottage is open and fresh! They provide a fire pit with wood, games, toys, canoes, etc. but all we really needed was the space to gather and the gorgeous lake view and access. Alex provided excellent instructions and was very friendly and accommodating. We are truly grateful to have been able to enjoy such a lovely place!
