Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Leitchfield

We stayed here during our trip to Mammoth Cave National Park, and the place was just what we expected—comfortable and nice enough for a small town stay. It had everything we needed for a few nights, and the location was convenient for exploring the park. Cave City itself is tiny but has a certain charm. The old Main Street had a cool little coffee shop, City Pizza (which was solid), a local bar, and a bunch of quirky junk/antique shops to poke around in. It made for a fun, low-key evening stroll after exploring the caves. Overall, a good stay if you’re in the area for the park and looking for a simple, no-frills base.

Great place, very clean and quiet. Logan helped with any issues that came up making our stay very relaxing!

Annette was so helpful! I accidentally forgot a load of laundry in the dryer after I checked out. She was quick to reach out and let me know before I drove too far away!

If I could leave more than 5 stars for extra credit, I would. It was an incredibly peaceful stay. The horses were serene. The dogs were so so friendly. My 10 year old LOVED the tree house and the creek. (She wants a creek in our yard now. lol) The space was exactly as described, looks just like the photos. All the comforts of home. The kitchen had any dishes, pots, pans, containers, foil, etc. you could possibly want to use. And so CLEAN! And Tracy and her family are the most lovely people. I enjoyed getting to know them. I highly recommend staying here!!!!

Private apartment by the golf course. price and ease of access was nice.

The place was perfect for my bach party during Kentucky derby weekend. Especially with booking the top room as well. There was a door that combined both air bnbs. It was so helpful being able to go back and forth for both of my groups that were staying in their respective rooms. Amazing host no complaints on the stay what so ever. The only issue I ever see arising with this place is parking if you have people you don’t know stay in the other apartment. Definitely max of 4 cars fit in the driveway. And the sound levels for the bottom residents. But it is described in the description so if you complain about it then that’s on you for booking it knowing the situation. Loved the golf course right down the road. Good restaurants and walkable pizza shop and liquor store. Really was a great weekend with my friends and I thank Shaalim for being so responsive during the 10 months we communicated back and forth when I booked.

David and family loved staying at 401 Main. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful stay in Leitchfield.

What an incredible place! It was so well appointed. We four felt like we were staying in something from "House Beautiful". Well, "Hotel Beautiful". And Mandi was a wonderful hostess. She'd reply immediately to any question I had. If looking for a place in this Leitchfield area, the Alexander Hotel would be a great choice.

Our stay was great. Home was clean and had everything we needed. It was very quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed. The screened in porch overlooking the lake was wonderful. Saw a couple deer. A little rough getting down to the dock but definitely doable. Jennifer was very responsive and pleasant to work with.

Kasey’s house was perfect for our weekend at the Ripken ballpark. It was great to be able to come “home” between games to rest and to do laundry. The house had everything we needed and was just as advertised.

Tracy‘s place was beautiful and exactly as described… It had everything we needed! It was just so peaceful and thoughtfully decorated!

Justin's place is perfect in every way. Short walk to the lake, two beautiful fire pits, comfortable beds, and plenty of room to roam. Justin is also an awesome guy and was there to answer any questions we had before and during our stay. I would highly recommend booking!

Susan was very helpful. We accidentally locked ourselves out during the stay and she responded almost immediately.

I will echo what every other review has said, this place is so charming! I wish I could live here! So many artistic details. The covered back porch and water feature is like something out of a dream, especially at night with all the string lights. We enjoyed going out each night and laughing at the frogs and toads having their “frog party”. Unfortunately we visited during the oppressive humidity of June and that plus the mosquitoes kept forcing us inside (there is bug spray provided) but I bet this place is wonderful in the fall! The property sits on an incredibly quiet, private, wooded street yet it’s literally just down the road from the entrance to Mammoth Caves National Park! Talk about convenient!! Oh yeah AND it’s 15 minutes from a Buc-ee’s! We made some late evening runs there for Brisket sandwiches after being at the National Park until sunset. The place was cozy and clean with all the extras you could need! Highly recommend!

We had a great time staying at Kimberly's place by Rough River Lake. We stayed at the house as a middle point/central hub of a larger road trip to the OH/KY/IN/IL/MO area as there was a ton of things to do in the vicinity (Mammoth Cave in KY and Marengo Caves in IN a within an hour and great to see, as well as the Lincoln Birthplace and Boyhood Home sites). The neighbors were friendly, Kimberly was extremely helpful in her communication and local recommendations, and the restaurants (especially the BBQ!) were fantastic.

We had an incredible stay at Alison’s place. The location was perfect, offering stunning views of the lake and unforgettable sunsets each evening. Waking up to that beautiful landscape every day was a true highlight. Alison was exceptionally responsive and made communication effortless. The house itself was spotless, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.
