n the heart of the Loire Valley, along the Thouet River: a 700 square foot converted barn (newly renovated) with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The house is ideally-situated in the heart of the Anjou wine region, a few miles from Saumur (well-known for it's castle and the French National Horse-Riding School, ''Le Cadre Noir'', wine growers, and troglodytes sites). Also nearby: important castles in Angers, Chinon, Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, as well as Europe's largest monastic center, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, which features an excellent music and cultural program. Other worthwhile day trips include the exquisite Loire Valley castles, such as: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Azay le Rideau, etc. The house, which is about 187 miles from Paris (300 km), or about 2 hours by TGV, can accomodate two couples with children (sleeps six altogether). The appartement includes : an entrance hall, a large sitting and dining room with a small equiped kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a small bedroom on a mezzanine level.

Upstairs, accessed by 2 staircases, there is a toilet, a shower room, a bathroom, 3 bedrooms with 160 cm beds and 2 bedrooms with 140 cm beds. Outside, 1 terrace with a large table, chairs and barbecue, and at the back of the house, 1 small garden with a deckchair, garden furniture and children's games.

Within the Domaine de l'Enchantoir, our organic vineyard, stay in our two adjacent cottages to form a large reception area for 10 people. Completely renovated, these apartments are composed of a total of 5 bedrooms. All bedrooms come equipped with air conditioning. Outdoor table, pool table and reading room for relaxation. You will enjoy the view, the calm, the outdoor spaces. Our place is good for families (with kids) and groups. I am the 7th generation to live in this wine estate. I have a golden retriever. You'll love my place because of the location and the ambiance. It is an old house made of tuffeau stone located in the heart of a troglodyte courtyard. The gite has a fully equipped kitchen and 2 air-conditioned bedrooms upstairs. It also has an outdoor courtyard with a terrace (barbecue, garden furniture). My place is good for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends.
