The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Great stay in Chassiers. The accommodation was very nice, totally independent, tastefully renovated, clean and comfortable despite its simplicity. The environment is very quiet (we even hear the frogs in the evening) and Chantal received us with kindness and trust.

Charming 15th century farmhouse in the heart of a rose garden

We had an incredibly pleasant time at the Roseraie de Berty. Eléonore welcomed us very warmly. The house is very charming and well-equipped. We spent a lot of time on the upper terrace overlooking the romantic rose garden. The location of the house is phenomenal. Very quiet and located close to many hiking trails, but not too far from shops. We already miss the house and will definitely be back.

We had a pleasant stay at Bernadette's, full of small touches on our arrival but also during the stay. The fruit was excellent🤤. Her husband gave us plenty of good advice and also hiking trails in the area. We also enjoyed Fabien during our water ride. Very quiet neighborhood, 5 min drive from the center, or 20 min to walk down. Very nice view, especially at night. I recommend it without hesitating.

We had a wonderful time here. The photos don’t do it justice! The village is beautiful and we especially enjoyed the outdoor terrace. Thank you so much for the homemade jam - it was delicious and disappeared very quickly!
