Vacation rentals with beach access in Lavra

Fabulous views-probably the best the area has to offer! We loved staying on this side of the river-there is still a lot to do/great restaurants, but very easy to walk to the Porto attractions. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and attentive-in fact, they provided us with a whole list of recommendations on check in. This third floor apartment does get rather warm on hot days, despite having strong fans and open windows-it’s something to consider although the lack of AC is well advertised. Amazing place!

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Matosinhos! The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the beach with a truly beautiful view. The neighborhood is usually quiet and very relaxing, with plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment itself was spotless and very comfortable — I felt right at home. Aurora the host was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure everything was perfect for my stay. Communication was smooth and easy throughout. Just a small note for future guests: the apartment is next to Parque da Cidade, a beautiful and large park. A few times a year festivals are held there. While it’s great if you’re attending, it can get a bit noisy if you’re not joining the event. Outside of those times, it’s a peaceful and quiet area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Porto and would happily stay here again. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable!

Great apartment with amazing views out to the sea and a lovely Lido just a walk away too! The space was clean and Maria responded very quickly to messages which was great for staying in touch before checking in.

We loved our stay at Pedro’s apartment- really well located right on the beach, with easy access to amenities and the wider city. It was really fantastic to have somewhere to sit outside and look at the ocean after sightseeing. Pedro was a fantastic host, really friendly and responsive. Would highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay at the villa. Highlight was the unbelievable views from the pool and terrace. The villa and garden with pool & basketball/football court is completely private, perfect for small groups. There are some great local restaurants and river beaches, and Porto centre is only a short drive away. Be warned - there are lots of steep and narrow roads! João was a brilliant host - greeting us on arrival, and easy to reach throughout. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Our stay went perfectly. The house is ideally located close to the beach. Very pleasant stay and Ruca was very attentive. I would recommend it in a second.

Margo is an excellent host and extremely attentive to our needs. The home was immaculate, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location is really fantastic, although you can't go to sleep before midnight on weekends in fine weather. The hustle and bustle on the promenade sometimes goes on until the early hours of the morning.

Maria greeted us and had cheese and cold beverages and a few other amenities in the fridge , we were able to get some great information she was very friendly and helpful . The views were fantastic exactly like the photo’s . Went to the Espinho market on Monday it was huge great deals and something for everyone was easy to get there . Plenty of walkways all along the ocean you can walk for miles . The train station is very close that you can take to Porto just FYI if you do take the train to Sao Bento Porto which is the downtown you have to change to Train 2 at the main station. This area is easy to get around and parking was close and free. Would love to come back to this area to explore some more .

Rúben and Mariana were absolutely great hosts. From the moment of check in to check out, they were responsive and gave brilliant recommendations. The Airbnb is right next to the beach and is in a nice quiet and secluded spot. I would 100% recommend this for your next travel desitnation!

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

There were three of us women friends going to start the Camino Walk. It was the best experience. Philip let us check in early as we had a red eye from Toronto. Paula met us early and helped us check in. The condo is gorgeous. Perfect for us. So clean and do equipped. From the beautiful towels to the plates to the beach chairs. Everyone was wonderful. I couldn't recommend it more. ! Location location!

I booked this accommodation because the view of the Douro River was so beautiful, and I was very satisfied! I kept walking because it was downtown just by crossing the bridge, but it was okay. The house was spacious for the price, and it was nice to have all the cooking utensils:)

We spent 4 very pleasant days in the apartment, which is very well located in the center of Matosinhos and has all kinds of businesses nearby (also the beach!). It's great for a couple or a single person. And Fernando, the host, will give you all the information you need to enjoy your stay, and will be available to resolve any issues that will make your trip even more satisfying. In short, a great experience!

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

This place was perfect for our stay. We had a tough time finding this place, roads are very different from where we live. Andrea was great, she met us hopped in the car with us and directed to the place. Wish we had more time to explore the area. Beautiful location, near the water with lots to do. We took the 20 minute bus ride to downtown Porto however opted to take a Bolt back. Highly recommend you to stay at Andrea’s and Ricardo’s place when visiting Porto!
