From Easter to All Saints' Day, the St Mélany market is held every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Not far from there, in July and August, the Sablières market takes place on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Comfortable and very well-equipped house, quiet and spacious, in a green setting, surrounded by a large garden. This accommodation is ideally located for discovering Ardèche, Lozère and Haute-Loire (hiking, swimming, rail-biking and pretty villages). This part of the Cévennes offers magnificent scenery. We did not meet Corinne who does not live there but communication with her was very easy and pleasant, we felt very welcome. Recommended without hesitation!

Unusual Clède in the Ardèche Cévennes

Wonderful stay in this peaceful place designed and maintained with love by Vanina and George. It is a home that keeps us immersed in nature in contact with the elements. The irregular Lauze stone from floor to roof, the wind that can rush into the upstairs bedroom through the windows without woodwork when it is not the first rays of sunshine that invite themselves at the foot of the bed -very comfortable -. The -hot - shower in the open air facing the mountain covered with a magnificent forest of chestnut and holm oaks. This place is worth it since it is almost 30 minutes from the nearest shops, after beautiful winding mountain roads. Don't forget to arrive with some groceries on the first day! If you're not looking for beauty, authenticity, simplicity, go your way. For the others, you will be spoiled.

We had two wonderful weeks at Catherine's cottage! We enjoyed the tranquility, the simplicity, wild nature, clean air and challenging walks. The pool was wonderfully refreshing and an experience! Catherine and her family received us very warmly. From Bruno, we received homemade goat cheese. Actually, we prefer to keep this beautiful place a secret:)
