Vacation rentals with a sauna in Lauttasaari

Overall, I highly recommend it. Most importantly, Pavel, the host, knew what travelers needed and prepared carefully. Location: Pavel's house is located in a residential area a little far from the city center. It seemed to be a new city area with many newly built apartments. It looked like it was far from the center of Helsinki on the map, but it didn't feel far because it took about 15 minutes by tram from Helsinki Station. If you're planning to visit Aalto University to explore Alvar Aalto's architecture, the location of this property would be perfect. Communication: Pavel is a proactive communicator. He answered any questions within 10 minutes and also recommended nearby amenities and grocery stores. There was no difficulty with self check-in. Building: The house was spacious and clean, so it was nice to stay. It was good for a family to use with 3 bedrooms, 1 shower room, and 1 toilet. It was a structure of entrance-shower room/toilet-guest room-kitchen-living room-2 bedrooms. The kitchen was well-equipped with dishes, so it was easy to cook, and I was able to use the fridge, basic oil, salt, etc., and it was nice that they even provided coffee! (There was a coffee machine and a moka pot) Nearby amenities: Ridl is a 7-8 minute walk away. It's not a small mart, but it wasn't diverse enough to buy gifts and souvenirs. It's good to take a walk and go.

Pekka was very communicative, and we really appreciated that she worked with us to arrange an early check in. The location was ideal! It is located on a residential street within easy walking distance of our favorite restaurants and the city center. Everything was as listed. We would have preferred to have another couple of pillows and towels, but it was workable. Thanks Pekka!

We loved this place! Responsive and accommodating owner, nice walkable location, clean and safe neighborhood. We are a tall family and while there are some lower areas for standing because of the sloped roof we didn't mind because it was such a charming place. Loved the unmistakeably Finnish touches to the design. Hi tech appliances and lighting, so I wouldn't recommend to my baby boomer parents but would definitely recommend to my friends. Loved having the in-house sauna! Coffee options were convenient and good. Would definitely stay here again if I'm lucky enough to return to this city.

We had a wonderful stay at this cute and cozy location before an early flight the next day. The host was very friendly and helpful and the location is great for travelers. Short easy walk from the train station and only one stop away from the airport. Would absolutely stay here again and definitely recommend for people to get a bit of true Finnish atmosphere with the sauna and cottage feel to the place.

Comfortable, clean, and quiet accommodation. Had just enough cookware to make meals, and we especially enjoyed sitting on the windowed balcony. Easy walking distance to most everywhere and this is a great value for the month. Excellent use of space in the apartment. Black-out curtains would have made it easier to sleep for those of us not used to continuous daylight. Definitely would recommend staying here. Antti would probably have hung black-out curtains had we asked, as he will do whatever he can to make the stay perfect.

The place was perfect and our stay was hassle free.

We enjoyed our stay as it’s near to most places

A spacious, bright and really comfortable apartment which catered well to the needs of our young family. The travel cot and highchair provided were a great help (I’m sure Juuso would also have provided a stairgate if this had been needed but we were happy to manage without). The location is a real winner with gorgeous views from the apartment’s full length windows. We also loved using the sauna. The local pizza place (just minutes away) was also a real find!

Marianne is a generous and kindly hostess. She took every care to make my stay comfortable. Her house had more amenities than listed. All kinds of food, raw and fresh, condiments, sauces and what not. We needed to stitch a bag that broke, even those were readily available. And Marianne was ever on the ready, responding to messages, coming over to attend our smallest need. Enjoyed thoroughly!

We had a wonderful stay at Anssi's apartment. It was very clean and well equipped and we enjoyed using the sauna. Anssi was very helpful with our questions before we arrived and even helped me by checking the apartment when I thought I had left a jumper behind after we left. It turned out that I hadn't left it behind anyway.

Ollie’s condo is beautifully presented. It’s a short walk to light rail and metro and a 15 minute walk to the water. The sauna is great! We loved staying in the heart of Helsinki. It’s a beautiful city and Olli’s place is the perfect base to explore.

Saara’s place is fantastic. The view is beautiful, the unit is comfortable and cosy and it is easy to get to via public transport. The sauna and pool are amazing! Highly recommend this wonderful apartment.

The accommodation perfectly met the needs of a family with one child on a two-night holiday trip and we could stay again, even if there were some shortcomings. The playground in the yard of the accommodation was in a rather neglected condition, but fortunately, a nice residential park was found a 5-minute walk away. The shower only had cold water for several minutes the first morning, until it finally got too hot. The next morning, the water from the shower was too hot and couldn't be cooled down.

The space was exactly what was promised. Messaging with the host was smooth, and they responded quickly to inquiries. The home was clean and well appointed.

Very nice place to stay. Quiet neighbourhood. Like being at home. Hanna was always available and took care of all very quickly. Definitely nice quiet place to stay.

We had a great stay at Sirpa's home and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Absolutely wonderful accommodation! Really convenient location when we came with two cars and got both free parking in the yard, easy to get around by public transport, lines were constantly running. Communication with the host is smooth, the answer always came quickly. A party of six, including two small children, stayed really comfortably, the playroom was very much to Taapero's liking.

Nice appartement with kitchen, garden & sauna (1 usage included). We liked to sit outside in the evening and we enjoyed the sauna with wood fire a lot. Wifi worked fine. The hosts reacted fast and helpful to questions.

Perfect place to get to by car really conveniently. Smart TV was a big plus and a surprisingly peaceful place in general😁
