We loved the stay here! the view from the hot tub is amazing we spent so much time in it! and we were very lucky with the weather the cast said rain but we only got sun and the rain was in hella so we were very lucky for that. we also had some problems with the grill but atli helped out with that and we had a great time! i recommend this place if you like to be private and have amazing views from the hot tub. 10/10 would stay again.

Perfect cabin for a trip to Iceland! It was small but that's what we were expecting from the description, and the space was enough for our needs. The host was very quick to respond anytime we had a question. Would definitely recommend!

Cozy cabin in beautiful surroundings

Perfect stay in every regard. This place is a special little slice of paradise in Iceland. Very obviously well cared for, and well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. The setting and the views are just spectacular. The extra time and effort required to get here are absolutely worth it. My family did not want to leave. Of the many rentals we’ve stayed in over decades of extensive travels this goes on a short list of one of the best.

Jón has a very nice house with a lot of beautiful things to visit nearby. The house is very private and relaxt for a small group (we were with 4 people) Instructions on how to find the house and some recommendations were send up front which was helpful.

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for a small kitchen. Eggert was quick to respond and check-in was easy and smooth. Great overall experience and would definitely recommend this place.

Gudny's place was amazing and the photos didn't do it justice. My family of 5 were very comfortable. We loved the updated bathroom and use of the hot tub.

One of our memorable accommodation is this one with its very lovely cabin inside and out. It’s so cozy we dont want to leave! Everything we need is right there and it’s spotless. We learned of the story of the cabin and it became a more special stay. Thank you for allowing us to arrive early and all the suggestions we can do around the area. This cottage is precious! It’s just 5 minutes outside of town so conveniently located, and the grocery store is also 5 minutes away. The directions provided made it very easy to find. Our favorite experience was sitting on the back deck on the couches with wine watching the sunset around 10-11 pm! Also, hearing the birds chirping was a delight. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking to explore the South coast, Golden circle, or ferry to Westman Islands. Would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay in Hella!! The house was perfect, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessities. And the highlight was the beautiful and friendly horses on the premises!! I would highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for having us!

We had a wonderful stay at Bergsveinn’s place! Great location to explore Iceland’s Golden Circle, and the view from the living room was spectacular! We loved having the horses greet us as we drove in. I highly recommend Bergsveinn’s cottage in Reykholt!

Una Cottage is a secret gem. I’m so glad me and my wife stayed here. After a long day exploring. It was nice to come back to a place that is nice, quiet, and private. It’s a perfect place to recharge. The cottage itself is beautiful. The decor was lovely, the interior smelled very good. Also, there are a lot of stores near by so you don’t have to drive far if you need something. We also love the horse and farm animals near by. Each morning when we start our day. We always say good morning to the horses near by. The horses always come to us to say hi, and we get to pet it. Lisbeth is an awesome host. She is very responsive, and also gave us a goodie bag . 😄We will definitely be back here when we return to Iceland.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The apartment was cozy and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect. Oskar was super responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Had a fantastic stay at Gunnar's cottage. Everything we needed was at hand in the cottage. It was warm and cozy and and perfect for relaxing in the evening. We used the hot tub a couple of times and it was great. Managed to see the northern lights during our stay and it's a perfect location for seeing them and travelling around the Golden circle. Would definitely stay again.

The most beautiful stunning place we have stayed at! To have a river and waterfalls in the back of the house was magical! The house was perfect and we loved the decor! I can’t recommend Mehrejar stunning place enough! He was the best host! Will definitely stay there again! Linda

My stay here was amazing, it was very private and had beautiful fields surrounding it. Maja has a great host and very responsive to any needs i had while i was staying here. I will always try to book this place if i ever visit Iceland again!

The place was really super cozy and cleverly decorated. Upstairs there are two beds and the couch can also be folded out. We both slept upstairs on the beds and had a wonderful view in the evening. The only thing I want to point out is that the beds are quite small. I am 1.70 and fit in quite well, above that it will eventually be tight. We would come again again on any case!

We had a 6 night stay with our family of 7 adults and everyone agreed that the space was ideal. We wanted something remote but still convenient and this was a great location for us. Heida and Axel were very responsive and helped whenever we had questions. There were some challenges with the local area water supply during our stay and we felt that we were very well taken care of, despite the situation that seemed to be out of Heida and Axel’s control. We would definitely go back if we have another opportunity to travel to Iceland.
