Gemünden Castle is a former castle from the 13th century, which was converted for residential purposes during the Baroque period. The mansion offers 6 spacious bedrooms with space for up to 6 families and groups of up to 12 adults. It can accommodate 20 people in 5 double beds and on good mattresses. In addition, the building offers spacious common areas. 1 large living and dining room with open fireplace. 1 small lounge. 1 large kitchen, library, 1 sauna, 1 jacuzzi (use costs an additional €150).

The high-quality interior invites you to relax. Here, at the gate to the Vogelsberg, among other things, is the entrance to the volcano mountain bike trail "Mühlental." From there you can quickly reach Gießen, Friedberg, Frankfurt, Hanau etc. The apartment is only a 5-10 minute walk from the beautiful lake with 2 beach bars. Great cycling and hiking trails surrounded by meadows, forests and streams. The Vogelsberg is also not too far away. Summer toboggan run, climbing forest, winter sports and much more…

Welcome to Schloss Nidda. Our magical adventure rooms for witches and wizards in transit are located in the historic judge's house of the castle. A magical experience for young and old! In this option, you book all 4 rooms for up to 10 people for the sole use of the 1st floor of our private house! There are 2 double beds and 6 single beds available! In addition to a toilet, 2 showers and a fully equipped kitchen! Don't forget your magic wand!

All rooms with kitchen and bathroom can be fully used. In the vicinity you will find great hiking routes, reservoirs, Europe's largest extinguished volcano and even a swimming pool nearby on foot. A thermal bath with salt cave is 13 km away (Bad Salzhausen).

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals.
