House vacation rentals in Lassen County

We had a small family get together. Great location and amazing property with plenty of room for 8 of us, if you have a smaller group it’s still a great place. Nice kitchen for cooking and the back deck facing into the woods was fantastic for enjoying the sounds and surroundings. I would highly recommend this place and hope to make it back again soon. Plumas Pines was always helpful and responsive. All around great visit!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in Plumas Pines! The hosts were very good at communicating and the house was outfitted with everything we needed. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio, taking in the fresh air and watching the golfers. We are hoping to make another trip soon. Thank you Plumas Pines!

We highly recommend this home. Perfect for our family for a wedding weekend. Three bedrooms each has its own bathroom. Very well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the board games, books and wonderful areas for our family to gather and have meals both indoors and on the back deck. The Plumas Pines neighborhood is wonderful. The beds are super comfy! Bring your own shampoo & lotion, everything else is there. You can walk to Longboards at Plumas Pines golf course for lunch or dinner too. Easy parking for 2-3 cars.

The property had stunning views from every room. The space was spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped with all the essentials. I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay!

We had a great time at our Air BnB. There was plenty of room for our group of six. The neighborhood was quiet, and pool area was very clean and kept. Our group enjoyed having coffee on the back deck in the morning sun. This air BnB, was very clean, and I’m picky about clean. The beds are comfortable and it was nice for each couple to have their own bathroom.

This cute little house is located on the Plumas Pines Golf Course. The location was quiet and a perfect fit with the rest of our crew who was camping up the hill at the State Park. The house was well equipped with all the amenities and access to the pool was a bonus! We would definitely stay here again!

Amanda is the most responsive host I have ever dealt with. She is amazing and ridiculously responsive-from buying fans to stave off spring bugs that I was concerned about, fresh flowers, chocolate, cookies and a sweet note on our arrival, tennis racquets for the local club, beach towels, toys for the kids…..she even researched recipes when I was confused how to cook on the griddle and knowing that we might be washing sheets, left us spare sheets. I could go on and on and on but I am going to run out of characters. Suffice to say, you will be pampered in a beautiful house when you stay here. The perfect 5 star rating is well deserved. We loved staying here, it was very clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and firm, pillows not fantastic but great stay overall. The kitchen was clean and had lots of kitchenware. It was nice precious people had left unused food so that future guests could use. Very clean, tidy and comfortable stay!

Location and amenities worked out great for our work weekend. We will be back.

The house and property were very private, yet extremely close to the Chalet where we attended a wedding. Lots of room and activities for everyone in our family including grade school children. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax, play games, chat, etc. It was a perfect property for our weekend with the extended family. The house and kitchen was well supplied and stocked with every amenity we could ask for. I would consider renting it again next year for another family get together.

My 4 friends and I stayed at Ernie's retreat for our Memorial Day weekend trip to Lassen and Lake Almanor. The photos don't do it justice--this place is gorgeous, and huge! We had plenty of space to relax, cook, and play games. There are clear instructions with how to use the propane fire pit outside, which we used to make s'mores. There is a roaring river right outside that makes you feel like you're far away in the wilderness. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked and the TVs all worked as well. Lake Almanor is a short walk or drive away, and we rented kayaks to explore the lake. Most importantly, Ernie is a stand-out host who is kind, proactive, and communicative. Thanks, Ernie!

This is a 3rd year celebrating my husband’s birthday at Steve’s place on Lake Almanor and we will likely be back for a 4th. The home fits our random grouping of family and friends with plenty of elbow room. The huge deck provides the perfect place for morning coffee and group meals while the comfy couch offers a cozy spot to warm up and relax once those evening temps drop. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen, however I wish there was some Tupperware for leftovers. (I think I said the same thing last year…I should read my own reviews ;)

The house was great, lots of room, bedrooms were big and I loved it had 2 master suites. Unfortunately we didn’t see a whole closet full of games until we were leaving, next time 😊. I would recommend and would stay there again. Thank you very much!!

We had an absolute fantastic time at this Airbnb. The space is spotless and exactly as Debbie described. Debbie was responsive, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that we have everything that we needed. She made the experience extra special. I was so thankful for the list of restaurants and things to do in the area. Our family would love to return and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, they’ll not be disappointed. Debbie is truly are a Super host!

We planned a family trip for Thanksgiving! Alan was so nice and made sure we had everything we would need ahead of time. I just wanted to make sure we had a mixer for mashed potatoes and whip cream. Alan went above and beyond and had a kitchen aid mixer there for us! The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked! Alan was very responsive as well!! Thanks so much, we really had a lovely holiday!

We had a wonderful month-long stay at this Airbnb! The deck overlooking the golf course was a highlight—perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxing. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable, extended stay. It was also a big plus that it was dog-friendly, making it easy to bring our pups along. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure we felt right at home. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful and restful stay at Eva and Greg’s Almanor House! A friend and I wanted a girls' getaway to escape the 100+ degrees heat in the Butte County valley floor. We wanted to be close to Lake Almanor but away from the Labor Day crowds. This place was perfect in that we were minutes from a wonderful Pizza place, and other restaurants in Westwood and only 12 minutes from Lake Almanor for boating, hiking, picnicking, and lake-view restaurants. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated cottage with super plush couch, comfy beds, and fully stocked kitchen and two bathrooms. We ate our meals both in a breakfast nook and outside by the fire pit and we enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of exploring. The neighborhood was very quiet and we can see the stars at night. Eva and Greg were very responsive with our every question before the stay and were available by email/text. Everything from toiletries, towels, fresh linens, very nice cooking instruments were provided in this cottage. Eva and Greg thought of everything to make our stay incredibly comfortable. We definitely will return again!

The RV park was a great experience. Quiet, clean, and Frankie and everyone else we encountered were very friendly. We would definitely stay again in future.
