Cottage vacation rentals in Las Rosas

Great accommodation, fabulous location and stunning views. This rural area is very quiet and with no light pollution clear night skies are just magical. Mostly the temperature this high up is lower than the coast but not always. The coast, which you can see from the terrace, is 20 minutes away by car. The house is modern and attention has been paid to the things that matter. A perfect base for us. The journey up from Arafo is steep for many kms and roads are narrow but often one-way. You do need google maps though – our rental car did not have a sat nav. We found the house in the dark and pouring rain. Juan was very helpful and responded very quickly. Without him we would have had real difficulties with replacing our car which had a puncture and no repair kit or locking nuts on board. Car rental company Record Go (via Opodo) was worse than useless. For organic fruit & veg: La Albahaca in Arafo and La Tajea in Mercado de Santa Cruz. For eggs: Juan’s hens! We will revisit. Loved it.

My boyfriend and I had such a lovely time staying here. The views are absolutely amazing, and the house is beautiful and rustic. The terrace is very spacious, and there is a little garden that attracts lots of little birds. The whole house is dreamy and surrounded by cute flowers and native plants. We loved using the log burner in the evenings, as it sometimes got quite chilly; this made it even more cosy and homely. Having a car is essential to stay here (and also to explore the rest of the island). There's a Lidl and Aldi nearby and plenty of great restaurants and beaches. Thank you so much for having us!

We had a wonderful stay at in La Florida and would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday away. The house and gardens were exactly as shown in the photos and a wonderful place to relax. We really enjoyed the wood burning hot tub, we purchased additional wood from the Repsol garage. The drive to the house was steep but very manageable for a confident driver. Initially we were given keys to only one of the apartments however as this had two single beds we requested the keys to the second place as this had a double bed and Susana was very accommodating in providing these.

Our stay at Las Casas was fantastic. It is located a bit off the beaten path but once you arrive, it is spectacular. Incredible views of the mountains and ocean, beautiful restored buildings, peaceful, and well equipped for any kind of stay. The amenities - sauna, hot tub, pool, etc - made the place feel like a retreat/resort. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing, vacation, I 100% recommend staying here. We were staying in Los Corrales which had a a full kitchen (no oven - but 4 stove burners. The communal kitchen has a coal burning oven). It had two large bedrooms and a very private terrace/patio with lounge chairs and a table to eat at. If you’re planning on eating there, I’d recommend getting all of your groceries on your way in because you are probably going to want to limit your trips up and down the mountain. Carmen was a very responsive host and had everything prepared for us when we arrived. Thank you for the stay Carmen and crew!

The property is lovely and everything you need for relaxing getaway. We loved the outside area, Al fresco at its finest. Supermarket is situated at the bottom of the road, 5-10 minute walk. Puerto del La Cruz is only a 15 minute drive and playa El Bollullo is on 15 minute drive, bit of a walk down to the beach, but well worth it. also the restaurant at the top is lovely, with a great back drop. If you want a relaxing getaway away from the hussle and bussle, then this is the place for you. Wake up to beautiful views of Tiede and the sea. what more could you want. See you next time.

The Villa was absolutely beautiful, a pleasure to return to after a day out and perfect for 5 adults and a 2 year old. The Villa was spotless and there was plenty of linen for a two week stay. There is everything you can wish for in the Villa. There is a lovely pool on site, cold water but refreshing on a warm day. The Villa is within easy reach of two Supermarkets and shops and a five minute walk to the regular Adeje Market. An 8 minute walk will bring you to the delightful beaches of Del Duque. The host is super responsive, all in all a great place to be.

A nice house in a beautiful location, the garden, and the views of Tiede from it, are absolutely stunning. The house was clean and well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maykel is responsive and answered any queries we had promptly. Highly recommended.

We felt right at home, good location, quiet area with a very good nearby guachinche. You have many trails to do near the house. The house in general was perfect, very clean and tidy. The jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing and was in very good condition. Very clean sheets and towels and very comfortable beds. The only thing you have to park several meters from the house because just in front is usually a neighbor's car, but everything else is great. We only had a problem with the Oven that did not work because the leancas were skipping, but we already communicated it so they can fix it for upcoming stays. What we liked most is that it allowed us to stay on the last day until late because I had no reservations and that is all a detail from the host that very few do. Everything else perfect. Thank you very much Aldo for your kindness, we will definitely repeat again. A hug.

We had a great time here! The house is very close to nearby restaurants (2-4 minute walk), pools in the sea (20 minute walk) and has a nice view of the sea. The town itself is quiet and has everything you need, the nearby market offers all necessary things. We would definitely visit again!

We wanted to disconnect from everything and that's exactly what we got here. It's such a little hidden gem, very private, the BBQ & pool areas are a touch with views looking down towards the Atlantic! Literally an 8 minute drive up through La Guancha and you are in the forest, I can recommend Casa de la Pradera easy terrain, our dogs loved it. A few hundred meters up the road and you come to Bodega Viñatigo very nice wines. The host Lara is very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go back.

The apartment is very nice, clean and lovingly furnished – lots of nice details! 😊 Maribel was super attentive and available at any time. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime.

Four families stayed comfortably at Sarah's place. Communication was flawless. Located in seclusion but close to pretty much all excursions we looked for in Tenerife. Swimming pool was heated and clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Overall a lovely place to stay and highly recommended for families.

Really loveley rural house with a great garden for beeakfast and evening meals. The kitchen is small but fully equipped. The accomodation is really clean, the host left us a welcome bowl of fruits and local wine we really appreciated. Really quite area between local villages of San Isidro and Granadilla de Abona. Away from turistic area but only 15 min drive from the sea and the mountains.

A week with Natalia and her extremely likeable family, whom we were able to get to know, is like a week in paradise! If you are looking for a quiet accommodation beyond the tourist trails, furnished with a lot of love for detail and care, you will find it here. The finca consists of four houses of different sizes and is located in the middle of a banana plantation, where work is still being done. A short walk leads to the sea and the natural swimming pool, which was closed. The view of La Gomera and the evening sunsets are breathtaking. With the rental car (which you need) you can quickly get to Alcala, where there is everything you need in the Dino supermarket. The place is spotlessly clean and very cozy. At the beginning of March you can use a sweater, in the accommodation Brier there is also heating / air conditioning. I highly recommend the finca, we always liked to come back after our excursions. Thanks also to Viktor for the delicious wine!

We had a truly unforgettable stay in Los Silos an experience we’ll always cherish. The evenings spent enjoying dinner and drinks in the garden were magical, full of charm and warmth. I had a bit of trouble with the check-in process because I was swamped and forgot to send my details, but Jan was incredibly patient and kind, calling a few times to help me through it all with genuine care. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped everything from toasters and mixers to an oven and a wide range of seasonings. If you love to cook, you’ll feel right at home. If you’re looking for a stay that leaves a lasting impression, Casa La Moringa is the place to be. Thank you Jan and Susanne !

This place is incredible! A wonderful stone house in the mountains. Peaceful, beautiful and cozy like home. You can find everything you need in the house. BBQ zone is perfect. We used it every day! We had all our breakfast with a wonderful mountain view. What could be better than spent your evening near fireplace after whole day exploring? The host is super nice and helped us to find a nice whale watching tour. We didn’t have issues with parking. At least one place was available every day in the evening. We had visited a supermarket in advance before checking as there are no stores near. But it is not an issue at all. I strongly recommend that place!

What an exceptionally beautiful location. The most beautiful Panorama views over the Teno Mountains, the gorge in the distance, the sea, and all this from the terrace. The route to the apartment was clearly indicated, narrow path to the parking lot, but easy to reach. Reception and explanation from Pedro was friendly and welcoming, very nice. Very clean and maintained. Indeed, it's useful that you do some shopping. There are some restaurants open during the day with a simple menu. During the day there are many tourists, after 5 p.m. they left and reverses the tranquility, which is so characteristic of the village. Outside the Mascakloof walk, there are also beautiful walks outside the village. Ask the tourist agency for e.g. RondWalk TF 56 to TF 51 and finish the circle with TF 59. Alternating scenery with beautiful views. The only minute are the hard mattresses, but that seems to be everywhere in Spain. In short, we really hope to go back again and then for a longer period of time.

Great flat with fantastic views in a calm and secluded area. Beautiful garden with a very calm and clean pool. Only downside is in my opinion, that the location is not super easy to reach, but that might just be the price for having such a nice and calm environment.

The space is impeccable. Superb view of all the rooms. BellesTerrasses. Francisco is very friendly and communicating even if it was complicated because we don't speak Spanish at all. In short, no complaints. We'll be happy to go back if we come back to Tenerife.

Very cute Airbnb, with amazing views. Spent most mornings walking to her chicken coop and viewpoint. Greeted by cute cats and kittens every morning on the patio. Laura greeted us upon arrival and helped with lots of hiking/restaurant recommendations. 10/10 would recommend!

This house is fantastic; very nice small swimming pool in beautifully maintained garden. Communication went smoothly. If you love nature, it's a really nice base. Very nice is the outdoor kitchen. The house cat is touching. You can pick bananas from the tree. Birds (also special) in abundance. The pictures and description of the house and garden do not do justice as it is there. It's all much more fun and bigger. Really a gem! A little less is the surroundings and the busy road under the house. Furthermore, you do need a car to visit some nicer places. But next time I would choose this place again. Thank you so much, you were a fantastic host with very sweet parents!
