Mountain cabin by lake – sauna & boat

Welcome to a simple mountain cabin with sauna, rowboat and location by a quiet mountain lake. The cabin has no power or running water, but is equipped with solar power and a kitchen with a gas-powered refrigerator, stove and cooktop. Water is collected below the cabin. It is about 400 meters to walk from the parking lot at E10. The annex is a few meters away and has a bedroom, sauna and shower. The shower water is heated by a sauna stove. The cabin is best suited for 2–4 people who want a simple and genuine mountain cabin experience.

The annex is equipped with running water and electricity, and has a bathroom with a combustion toilet and shower and a kitchenette with the most necessary resources. Pets are very welcome. The surrounding area offers great recreational opportunities all year round. From here you can fish, hike, ski or ski in or outside prepared slopes. Super cozy cottage in a quiet and scenic area with beautiful views of Rombaksfjorden and Tøttatoppen itself. Great starting point for great trips in summer and winter and only 15 min to Narvik. The cabin is between 40 - 45 sqm - all on one floor with one bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with open dining room/living room. Here you will be able to see the northern lights dancing across the sky in winter. In the summer you can enjoy a drink outside and enjoy the midnight sun.

Surrounded by dramatic mountains and oceans, Andørja is the most mountaineous island of Northern Europe. Mighty peaks shoot straight up from the sea. Few places are the landscape more conspicious than at Laupstad, where our farmhouse lies just between the sandy beach and mountains. We welcome singles, couples and families of every nationality! Fishing trips is possible. The midnight sun is best experienced by boat after all.

The “Elvind Astrup”Cabin has been decorated and set-up with ever attention to detail to make your evenings with us comfortable and relaxed. Lovingly furnished with drift wood and natural materials the cabins accommodate five to six people. We have a sauna near the river (additional for 450NOK). Our three cozy log cabins „Helge Ingstad Hytte“, „Eivind Astrup Hytte” and "Wanny Woldstad Hytte" are all to rent on Airbnb.
