The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. Everything was neat and clean. Beds were comfortable. Our kids loved the ping-pong table and lower hangout area. This place was perfect for our family to spread out and relax.

My buddies and I stayed here for a weekend for a bachelor trip. The house was very tucked away and you had all the privacy you needed. We had such a great time! The hot tub was definitely a highlight. The house was also spotless and seemed brand new. Ryan was super easy to communicate with and made things much simpler for us. I would suggest this place for anybody just trying to get away and have a great time with either friends or a significant other.

Peaceful, warm atmosphere with lots of space. Love the view out the living room window of the beautiful, green, forest-like backyard. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Eight friends (four couples) joined my husband and I to celebrate my birthday with a getaway weekend for pickleball and relaxation. Laura's home was spacious and more than comfortable for our group. The kitchen is well-stocked, the patio dining lovely. Saturday morning was rainy. We enjoyed relaxing on the very-comfortable deck by the fire pit with books and conversation. It was cozy and didn't dampen the weekend whatsoever as the accommodations were so lovely. We loved the pickleball court and had a fabulous weekend stay!

We absolutely loved our short time here! The home is exactly as described, one of the cleanest Airbnbs I've stayed in, and has an unbelievable view. We saw a family orcas, porpoises, and a seal from the deck! Rose is very responsive and sent all information we needed to use and access the home and amenities! The community hall is also terrific and a great place to meet other visitors/residents of the island. We will definitely be coming back! :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tara’s home, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment my family and I arrived, I was made to feel completely comfortable and welcome. Tara went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Thoughtful touches, it felt like a home away from home. Clean, cozy, and beautifully kept. Tara's home had soft beds, fresh towels, the perfect cup of morning coffee, every detail was considered. During our stay we felt very relaxed, warm, and very welcomed. Thank you, Tara, for opening your home and making our stay such a lovely one. I’m truly grateful and already looking forward to the next visit!

We met up with some extended family and stayed in Kellyn’s house and it was perfect for our needs. Great space, comfy furniture, private backpatio, dog friendly, and close to Tacoma/Seattle and all that area offers. The driveway is very steep as other reviews (and the listing, I believe) have stated, and FYI, the neighbors across the street have some dogs who will bark when you come and go but tend to shush once you’re out of view. We had a great stay and were very pleased with the price when comparing it to other AirBnBs in the area.

I have stayed here several times when visiting my children and grandchildren in the area. The home is clean, spacious and well appointed. The backyard is very nice and the neighborhood quiet ( other than a little traffic noise on occasion). Shopping is nearby should you need anything and you have easy access to I-5. My family has grown accustom to visiting me here and all say that it feels like a “home away from home”.

We felt so relaxed from the moment we arrived and felt at home immediately. My husband unexpectedly had a medical emergency and we just wanted to be home but the place made my husband relax and recuperate in what felt like the next best thing. The windows and view of trees is a fresh breath of air. Everything was as described and had everything we needed and expected.

The home is beautiful and the space is well priced given the luxury finishing in the inside of the home and the prices in the area. Pene was extremely responsive and always communicated very quickly with any questions I had. He even brought me extra towels when I needed them. He also listed some great local eats and experiences which was very kind. I think anyone who visits would feel at home and appreciate the hosts’ responsiveness. The neighborhood was fairly quiet and the extra office space was great for me to get some work done away from my family watching tv and chatting in the main home. Having the garage was super convenient too for the car. I would gladly stay here again if I need a place in Tacoma.

Great house with plenty of room for 4 people. Nice safe neighborhood very close to many food options. Really appreciated the easy checkout process of putting the dishes in the sink and turn the heat down. So nice when we were in a hurry today!

Beautiful place, my toddler loved all the ships in the port and all the planes that flew by. The house was clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again if coming back to the area.

Having stayed at dozens of rental homes around the country, its easy for me when I come across a standout like this property. The home is possibly the best appointed rental I have ever stayed in. If you intend to hang out at the house and enjoy the scenery, the back yard and kitchen are perfectly set up to entertain your guests. My family and I did not notice a single thing that we wanted or needed that was not on hand. Anyone looking to rent a property in this area of Washington, I would highly recommend this home! Im sure I will be back one day.

Never judge a book by it's cover would describe this property. Set in a well established quiet neighborhood. This house was pristine on the inside. James was very responsive. We were able to get the much needed rest we sought.

This place worked out perfectly for my family. It was clean and well stocked with necessities. The view of the Sound was great. It was a little tricky to find, but Bill was good with the directions. We were in Tacoma for my son's wedding, and the location is close to where he lives. Bill's communication with us was very good. He was always concerned if we needed anything. I would definitely consider renting it if I come with the rest of my family again.

Tiffany's place was great! We are already talking about renting this place again when we return
