Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lakewood

Our stay in Kameko's rental was perfect for our families first cross country trip from TN. Having the park right there was amazing for the kiddos.

STOP SEARCHING! BOOK HERE! From start to finish, our stay was incredible! Kevin was so responsive & helpful. Never intrusive-always available! We've stayed at many ABNB's (as primary guests, often as co-hosts, countless times as guests of friends/family). STAYING HERE WAS LIKE STAYING AT A DEAR FRIEND's HOUSE! All our needs were met. Vintage Spanish home charm with modern convenience! We initially got in touch to verify with Kevin that we could host a dinner party for 15-20 friends & family to celebrate our son's graduation from university. Every response was, "Sure!" and "No problem!" Kevin was always so accommodating throughout our stay. When I say everything you need to make your stay comfortable is at your fingertips, I am not kidding. Platters, plates, glassware, cutlery? Check! Plenty of towels, linens, placemats, napkins? Check! Forgot something? No worries! There are extra toiletries, sunscreen, coolers, umbrellas, etc. The backyard is a beautiful oasis! Gracias, Kevin!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rose’s home! Everything was just as described, well maintained, with comfortable furnishings and modern touches. As a cherry on top, Rose was so kind and responsive; we really felt at home. The neighborhood is very safe and all of the neighbors we happened to see were very friendly. Plus Rose’s home is conveniently located — approximately a 20 minute drive from downtown Long Beach and 2nd street, and located very close to the Lakewood town center in the opposite direction. There are plenty of things to do and places to eat. All and all this is a great place to stay and I highly recommend it!

We had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! The host went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were incredibly responsive, attentive, and so helpful — especially with my elderly parents while I was out of town. The accommodations were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything they needed. I truly appreciate the extra care and attention the host provided, which gave me complete peace of mind. I couldn’t say enough good things about Karen’s Airbnb. It was the great experience. Even though I am fairly new to Airbnb since I have used other services, my expectations were totally met. She is such a swift communicator and very fair about requests and special circumstances. The home is located close to great stores and restaurants plus less than a block away from a cozy beach. I am glad that I selected her home and that everything was as represented. She is also incredibly friendly and interested in her guests and their welfare. Even when she might not be available for 30 minutes, she has a staff that assists her and they are totally responsive as well. If you need to experience a good time in the trendy Naples Island area, stay at her place and everythingwill be smooth. Even though the house is partially on a busy street, her place is quiet and comfortable. She also adds some extra touches like a fully informative booklet, not only on house rules, but places to visit.

Overall our stay was excellent. The little house was exactly what we pictured from the description and pictures and the common area with the pool/hot tub is beautiful. Jeremy was very accommodating for us and worked with us with a lady second booking that was a little outside of his usual requirements which we appreciated.

The house is a stand alone structure, beautifully decorated and stocked with the basics (coffee, tea, oil, salt), has great appliances and an impressive backyard with a grill and a lemon tree. I was always able to find parking in the front. Front door has a Ring. Trader Joe’s is nearby, as well as other stores.

This place was exactly as advertised. We spent hours sitting outside in the yard relaxing during our stay which is exactly what we'd hoped for. The location was perfect: right near the beach and restaurants but in a quiet community. I'd love to stay here again.

What truly made the experience stand out was the host—extremely responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. I’ve stayed in many places, but I’ve never experienced this level of customer service before. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free stay!

Holly was a very great host… she was helpful and very informative. She responded very quickly and helped with all questions even if they weren’t about the stay itself. She informed us on important Information and was just all around great. The building was very safe! Closed off to the public and I felt very secure leaving and entering. A little noisy but it’s downtown… we expected it. I still enjoyed my time there and I’m happy I chose her to be my host… I would definitely visit again!

I can't say enough good things about this space and the host. Caroyln was so helpful, accommodating, responsive, and friendly. I had a little trouble finding the home, but her husband came out and helped, which was so nice! They both recommended places to eat and even offered to make a bed for my daughter when we had a possible room switch. Caroyln was so responsive and I had no trouble getting information needed. The room was beautiful and spotless, I honestly wish we would have booked for longer! I plan on coming back to the area many times, so I will be booking again. Thank you Caroyln for making us feel welcome and safe!

My sister and I come to LA every summer. This was a great place to stay. Echo park- stone’s throw from silver lake. Amazing walks. Pete’s cabin was cool and quiet. Just what we needed.

Finding a rental in this area of Los Angeles is very rare. It’s near where my daughter and her family live so we could walk there every day without having to hire an Uber or Lyft. Plus the area is quiet and felt very safe. We would definitely stay there again.

What a cool place! Kagel Canyon is so close, yet feels world's away from the frantic pace of LA. The house is great - and you quickly get used to the canyon's winding roads to a parking spot right at the gate to the property. Host Vic is very responsive - when we had one issue the first evening, he was there in less than 10 minutes to correct it. He and his co-host are dedicated to making improvements to create a perfect guest experience - even brought over a new table & chairs for the patio while we were there. Kagel Canyon may be further away from downtown LA & Hollywood, but has a similar vibe to Laurel and Topanga canyons, legendary hangouts of the late 60's. Quirky and interesting homes amongst the giant trees - fun to stroll the streets even if there's alot of up and down hiking. Especially enjoyed hiking up the trail from nearby Veranda Dr. - 360° views down into the canyon and into the mountains. Very quickly felt at home - a perfect respite from a very busy city. 5 stars!
