Such a fun girl’s trip! We were welcomed with blueberry muffins and flowers, bed were very comfortable, beautiful and well appointed home. We kayaked every day, sat on the dock to watch the sunset. Walked the waterfall @McGalliard on the Valdese greeway 25mins away. Check out the Taste Full Beans cafe in Hickory, best soups, teas and art. Hope to be back soon 😊

Ellen’s cabin was the perfect location for our quiet girls weekend! The set up inside was perfect and the property had everything we needed: paddle boards, kayaks, docks, towels, outdoor seating and a fire pit. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay - peaceful, quiet and incredibly comfortable. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated and full of calming touches that made it easy to relax. The beds were very comfortable, and I slept deeply every night. The surrounding are was beautifully quiet, offering the perfect escape from the noise of daily life. Samantha, the host, was responsive and respectful. Everything was seamless from check-in to check-out. This stay was what we needed! Highly recommend for anyone seeking rest and tranquility.

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway right on the water. The hosts were very responsive and equipped the house with everything you could need. They provided a fire pit, grill, kayaks, and canoes which were perfect activities given the weather. There are houses nearby but it still felt like we had our privacy. We would definitely rent this house again and come back to Lake Norman!

We arrived ver late and very hungry, due to a 3 hour plane delay…walked into the home and there was a basket of wonderful treats and water waiting…such an unexpected and wonderful surprise. The house/cabin was perfect. A rustic lake vibe with all the wonderful amenities. We used the canoe and kayaks on the lake with our grands. Location was also perfect, a short distance to anything and everything. Communication was top notch. Highly recommend…

Great stay! Rustic cabin in the woods with a beautiful view. Was familiar with the Tanglewood area already. Had a great walk around the park and enjoyed a birthday party at one of the picnic shelters. Interior clean, towels fluffy (could have used a few extra, since we stayed several days.) And, water pressure was excellent. The only negative would be WiFi. We couldn’t get it to work. So, make sure to have plenty of Data. Other than that, we give it an A+ and would definitely stay again .

This sweet cabin offered a great stay for our last min family get-a-way:) The host was very responsive and helped us for a smooth check in. There are also lots of shops right outside the park if you need “camping” supplies you may have forgotten to pack. Would def recommend

Loved the views of the water and the screened in porch access into the cabin. Very cute decor and kitchen well equipped. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable. One towel bar was missing, and the spiderwebs could have been taken down in the screen room, but overall it was a very nice rental. Thanks

This Airbnb is newly updated and is one row of houses back from the lake, so you have a sliver of lake view from the front window. We enjoyed our time staying at the home which was clean and looks like the photos. The kitchen was well stocked, water was hot, WiFi was fast, and there were three beds which worked perfectly for four adults and one child. Using the community amenities such as paddleboats, kayaks, and fire pits was a real plus. The Airbnb is run by a company, so they won't respond on the Airbnb app to messages, but the cleaning service email was responsive to questions. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Great host just left my bag and somehow they can’t find it. Not sure what’s going on but definitely a great host.

The place was amazing booked it for my wifes bday and our anniversary the pictures do not compare at all the place looks even more amazing in person it was very clean it was very peaceful being there Ranin was very pleasant to deal with and communicated back and forth almost immediately with any questions or concerns i had the pool and hot tub couldve used a little cleaning but it was just opened for the season so im sure itll get the attention it needed overall the place was amazing i 100% plan on coming back to this place

James and Jane were amazing. They made sure we were up to date with the area, have local restaurants near the home. Also had access to the river. They were nice and helpful and they have a lovely home.

Jonathan is a great host! He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — he even left some duck eggs in the fridge for us. The house is beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Really great place. We’d love to stay here again. It was in a perfect cove for our littles to explore the water and we all felt like they were safe. The tv in the living room didn’t work, but they did come try to fix it and were extremely kind and responsive. We really didn’t use it anyway, other than at night. My kids loved the fishing gear, paddle boards, canoes, and fire pit for roasting marshmallows. We had a blast. I would have loved some local eating recommendations, but really, the house was clean and amenities perfect, so we didn’t want to leave very much. Can’t wait to go back!

Matt's place was absolutely beautiful. It was just as described and communication was excellent. There is so many amenities in the house. Great Coffee area, King bed was very comfortable. The property was beautiful and quite. House was clean. We loved staying there and would highly recommend and would stay there again.

Very nice place to stay and I felt right at home. Perfect location to have privacy, but also close enough to pick up anything you may need from town. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

LOVELY HOME AND HOSTS! HAD THEM A MESSAGE AWAY. THE HOME LOOKED JUST LIKE THE PHOTOS, BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED AND 15 MINS TO EVERYTHING, THE HOTTUB AND FIRE PIT WERE READY TO GO AND THEY WERE VERY NICE! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND STAY AGAIN.
