Peaceful, quiet and safe neighborhood (good proximity to New Haven’s East Rock neighborhood as well). Patricia is proactive about communication and is welcoming and cordial, doing her best to make your stay feel like you’re in your own home. Room is clean and comfortable with its own fan, tv, plenty of pillows and towels provided. Walls are decently thick, which is good, as there’s a good chance you will be sharing the house with Patricia and/or other guests. Never saw the other person staying there though, so you will have a decent amount of privacy all things considered. All in all, this is a great, relatively cheap option if you have business in New Haven. Would recommend.

We loved our stay in Janna’s charming house and would absolutely do it again. The neighborhood and house are lovely and we enjoyed chatting with Janna. The cats, particularly Lafayette, were a bonus(very friendly and sweet).

A warm fireplace is set within a wooden mantel, adorned with seasonal decorations and lights. Logs burn gently in the hearth, casting a soothing glow. A nearby potted plant and magazines are visible, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance.

I have stayed with Laura before and it is always a good experience! Lovely accomodations, thoughtful touches and a friendly host!

Bridget's home is on a more rural road, which is nice because of the quiet and peacefulness. There was a wild turkey walking around the yard at times 🦃🙂 Bridget was very friendly and welcoming. Using the keypad for entry was easy. The house with kitchen and shared bathrooms, and the private bedroom were all very clean. The bed was on the firm side, but still plenty comfortable. I would stay again.

I stayed a week in early June, very happy with the place. Well worth the money. The apartment is newly renovated and clean. There was an AC in the bedroom, which really helped on hot days! The house in near a supermarket, which is convenient. The neighborhood is not gentrified, but it's only a 15-min walk away from the central campus, so overall - a great deal.

A bright bathroom features a vibrant turquoise wall complemented by white wainscoting. A large window provides natural light and a view of greenery. A white countertop basin sits atop a wooden vanity, with modern lighting fixtures and a blue towel adding a pop of color.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Blue House - it was perfect for our visit for Yale family weekend. The house was an easy drive to New Haven, and the space was clean and perfect for our needs. The best part by far, though, was the wonderful hospitality. Thanks Kellie and Tom!

We loved our stay with Liisa and Douglas. They were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. Liisa and Douglas are both designers which shines through in the beautiful art in their home and their beautiful garden. If you want a relaxing weekend in nature while only a 8-10 min drive from beautiful New Haven (and its many great restaurants), this is the place to stay.
