Tiny house vacation rentals in Lake Superior

The cabin was beautiful! It was private and we felt like we were removed from everything. We were able to relax and recharge. We were left great ideas for hiking, food, and sightseeing. We would love to book it again!

Three girls and I just did a 4 night getaway at this cabin and had an amazing time. It was peaceful, we felt safe, and overall was everything we needed. The water was surprisingly very warm compared to what we were expecting and our cabin stayed cool during the day and at night was the perfect sleeping temperature. All our phones had amazing service we had AT&T and Verizon. On our trip we visited pictured rocks (45 minutes away), Garlyn Zoo(1 hour), and Kitch-iti-kipi (25 min away). We Kayaked every night during the sunset which was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was very well stocked with just about everything you would need for cooking/ cleaning. The outhouse was also extremely clean and exceeded our expectations. Overall, the only thing I would bring extra of was more bug spray and possibly a bug candle to keep on the picnic table. There were a lot of mosquitoes at night. Overall was a 10/10 trip and we plan to return sometime in the future.

We loved our weekend getaway at Mark and Wendy’s cabin! The views were beautiful! Also, Mark and Wendy had great communication with us throughout the entire experience.

It's always enjoyable having a host that communicates effectively; Kaity was one of those hosts. Her welcome note was thorough and provided all the information we needed for both check-in and check-out. The home is adorable. The massive windows in the main gathering space gave you the 'full north woods' feel. Kitchen is smallish but we certainly appreciated how well stocked it was with all the appropriate cooking utensils. Providing a drip coffee pot and pour over was a great touch; we used them both. Bed mattresses were awesome - nice and firm. We were there for the mountain biking and boy did we have fun on so many of the nearby trails. Bottom line: It's a nice place to getaway to.

We had a very fun time and Keith and Sara were helpful when we had any questions. The area is beautiful and canoeing on the lake is a must!

Was the most amazing spot!! Hosts were so kind and friendly as well, and everything is within a very quick drive! Would absolutely recommend. That view was the best part of the trip by far.

Bonnie’s Backyard Oasis was lovely. It was great to have a designated place to park, be able to check ourselves in and out at our convenience in a quiet neighborhood where we felt safe. The place was clean and adorable, and the bed was comfy, too. Bonnie was so thoughtful with a list of good places to visit in the area if we had time and even left some snacks and beverages in the unit for us. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location and the house was so cozy and pretty too, perfect for a couple’s getaway. Theres a beautiful drive by the beach. Overall, I loved it.

Beautiful place, very relaxing. We enjoyed the wonderful views, comfortable bed and the sauna. Perfect couples get away.

This was such a special stay. The farm is lovely, and my family enjoyed the chickens (and omelets) - and even helped out with chores. The Perch was really cozy and comfortable, and close to Jay Cooke State Park. I would definitely stay here again, and hope we get the opportunity to!

Great tiny home that keeps you close enough to the city that going out for activities doesn’t feel like a hassle. Yet private enough that you feel like you’re in you’re own little world. Brad and Bri were responsive and flexible with check in and had a great book of suggested restaurants and activities. Easy check in and check out with a super clean kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. Great spot for a getaway with a significant other. 10/10 recommend!

From the moment we arrived, this cabin was an absolute escape. The solar power was seamless, and we never felt like we were missing any comforts. The cabin was cozy and well-equipped, perfect for unwinding. The surrounding nature was breathtaking and location was very private and tranquil. James was very responsive to any questions we had. If you're looking to disconnect and recharge, this is the place!

This place is perfect after a day trip to Mackinac Island! It wad a quick and easy stay. I had no trouble finding the location and didn't need to interact with Jack due to his clear instructions in the reservation section and in the cabin. To top it all off, there was complimentary chocolate fudge from Murdick's on the table for me! Given how expensive the fudge is at the shops near by, I was especially greatful for this gesture. Next time I go up north, I'm staying here.

If you're seeking to escape the chaos of every day life, I highly recommend the Love Shack! It's a remote, cozy cabin with magical views. Just be prepared for off-grid living—no electricity or cell service, but the propane heater keeps it warm, the bed is comfy, and there were tons of books, maps + resources for UP exploring. The kitchen has some essentials, but you'll need to bring your own cookware. You'll find well water, a clean + stocked outhouse, and a lovely sauna with stunning lake views. The hosts are exceptional; Maggie went above and beyond to ensure I felt at ease during my first solo off-grid trip. She responded promptly to any questions I had and never missed a detail. Overall, it was a memorable and restorative retreat from the world.

Helen's cottage was very clean and comfortable place to stay with great value for those looking to stay in the Keweenaw. Private accommodations with very flexible check in and convenient location just a few miles outside of Houghton. Helen was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had to ensure a comfortable stay. Location offers good parking space and additional garage space for those with outdoor toys. Perfect place for on the go and active outdoor visitors.

Had a lovely time at Taryn’s cabin! Our favorite part was watching the sunset from the screened in porch. Beautiful! There was plenty of fire wood and kitchen utensils were expertly stocked!! We loved all the ceramic bowls and plates. The decor was darling and inside was well appointed. The bed was surprisingly comfortable! Be wary of the buggy season, they were out in full force come nightfall. We will definitely be back!

Just as before. It was a wonderful stay. This time with deer walking through the front & back yard!! Such a beautiful location! Hope to come back soon.

We had such a wonderful time at Big Cedar ! The only thing i forgot to pack was stuff for my husband’s coffee and was so pleasantly surprised to have a Keurig & the means for coffee! Definitely bring 40% deer mosquito spray ! Can’t wait to come back ☺️

Sleeping Giant is a beautiful, thrilling place to hike and this cabin is a beautiful, welcoming retreat close to the trails with comfortable beds and a hot shower. There are so many thoughtful, well designed details that surprised and delighted me. Lila and Michael are kind and gracious hosts. I hope to come back soon.

beautiful cabin in the woods, near lakes and hiking. plenty of space with a great view of the sunrise from the bedroom upstairs. incredibly quiet and peaceful spot, really appreciated the modern cabin! easy to find, and near a coffee shop and two different lodges with restaurants. Great place to relax and enjoy the calm of nature!

We absolutely loved our stay at this tiny home for our honeymoon. It was peaceful and secluded and beautifully set up. All of the information we could have needed was provided physically at the tiny house which was extremely helpful for our entire stay & made the entire process easy and seamless. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely see about staying here again!
