Valerie showed us the upmost hospitality and was quick to respond to everything. Anytime we had a question it was answered immediately and when we asked to adjust checkout times they were willing and accommodating to help us make us feel even more at home while being away. I would recommend this place and our wonderful hosts to anyone in the area needing a well kept place close to everything. Will absolutely be looking to book again next time I’m in town. 10/10 experience thank you for making our weekend even better and as smooth of a stay as it could’ve been.

We are repeat guests and it is always a pleasure staying at Glenn & Debbie's. The self-contained unit is spotless, their yard is inviting and relaxing and they make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Located in a very nice neighbourhood and a short drive to many good restaurants.

Great location and within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do in downtown Detroit.

Sophia and her family are such thoughtful and welcoming hosts. Their communication was excellent, and they truly went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at home. I’d absolutely recommend staying with them to anyone!

I’ve stayed at Jason and Christine’s on and off all summer/fall. It was great for my needs and comfortable.

My friends from Germany stayed at Jean’s place and said she was super nice. Jean brought treats for them several times, and changed the linens during the two-week stay. The apartment was clean, and they enjoyed seeing deer outside in the field. The only wish they had was that there would be more sound insulation between the floor above and the ceiling below. But they said that it was a truly enjoyable stay.

RUN don’t walk to secure a night or two at this beautiful location! Richard was very responsive with all my questions and flexible for arrival time. The place was nicer than we expected and were blown away with so many details. A card with chocolates welcoming us, homemade jams and honeys, a basket of necessities in the bathroom, beautiful dishes and snacks left for us and sliders and housecoats. I could go on! We loved the hot tub that was prepared for us, fire pit and the lovely dock or sunroom! We wished we were staying longer! There was even a work out room! A lovely continental breakfast was available upon request and we loved it! I can’t say enough about this place, location and the hosts. So lovely!

We had a lovely stay at her loft. Very peaceful surroundings with a beautiful view and deck. The beds were very comfortable and it is nice and quiet. The loft felt very comfy!! Thanks for a great stay!!

This is a wonderful spot! Inside the actual apartment is great, but it's the outdoor space that really shines. The outdoor kitchen is a unique experience, and the covered kitchen area is a perfect place to sit and listen to ALL. THE. BIRDS. (Including the chickens! ❤️) We were there for a spring birding trip and we didn't have to go very far. The place is just a couple minutes walk from the beach, and a short drive from Rondeau Provincial Park. Also, there are two utterly adorable pygmy goats, and ultra fresh eggs.

needed the palace last minute and was able to book. Very quick, clear and detailed instructions on how to arrive and get inside. Space was very big and spacious for the 2 of us would stay again

Evelyn was wonderful and fast to respond! Very friendly but also gave us privacy. The bed was very comfortable and they had so many board games and a ping pong table, and a nice TV and comfy couches! My husband and I got ready for a wedding here. It was perfect!! multiple mirrors, a vanity in the bathroom, and a huge closet to hang up our fancy clothes! 10/10! We would definitely stay here again if we're back in the area! :)

Wonderful place to stay! perfectly nestled away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to enjoy everything Detroit has to offer. The listening was perfectly as described. Comfortable bed, great water pressure, has everything you could need for a stay and more. The neighbor was great and felt super safe. I'd definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Detroit!

Hard to think of things to say about Joe and his place, that have not been said before. The space was really spotless, bed super comfy, balcony nice to sit out on. The only thing that we felt was missing was another comfy chair/lounge to sit on in the bedroom. Joe was super quick to respond to any questions, was great to chat with in general and just a really nice guy. The location was perfect for what we were looking for. Very close to the Lake, wonderful peaceful walks, short walk to the shopping street. We highly recommend Dutch Boys Chocolates, Joe's for great coffee (both on the Main Streeet, walking along the banks of Lake Eerie (at the end of the street), Heritage Walking Tour of Kingsville (guide available at the Carnagie Arts and Visitor Centre down the road). And best of all, a visit to National Park Point Pelee in Leamington really is a must for nature lovers. Thanks for everything Joe. Kind regards Diana and Joost
